I got ripped when I stayed in Amsterdamage, room was practically under ground, had to duck down when showering due to height of the ceiling, was a right kip, and to make it worse there was the steepest set of stairs to and from the room, I'm sure ye man Fritzer could of used this room..!!

Lads, just on the off chance, anyone any experience of the Ultimate from Dutch passion? or even heard anyone elses experience?

Prof
Not done Ultimate but my strawberry cough are DP. Also have done the white widow, skywalker and Brainstorm by DP in the past. None of them got completed due to stupidity on my part but seem like good genetics

Hi lads,

I bet this has been asked a zillion times, but Im wondering what nutes you would recommend for a hydro drip system using clay pebbles? Its an atami wilma 10pot.

I was thinking biobizz or advanced nutrients as they are available locally.
Also, is Rhizotonic worth buying for my setup?

My first attempt using plagron hydro a+b nutes isnt working out too well. All of my 3 week transplanted clones are spindly, pale green and some deformed leaves. They have picked up a bit over the last week, but still aren't great. I have watched the ppm (500) and ph (6) closely and really can't figure out what the problem is. The strain is Madonna by sannie, and the mother plants are in great shape.

EDIT:
After taking the pics with the HPS off the plants look a lot greener, but some are still quite yellow. :)

Tj from what I hear canna nutrients are the best, you get them on ebay cheap also, there are so many nutient types and people will tell you this and that but the truth is it's like taking a vitamin tablet, they'll work and some are better...but do you really notice?

I'll have to try something because most of the plants are growing mutant weird looking leaves. It looks like something might be lacking in the Hydro nutes Im using. All other conditions I can think of seem ok. Might go back to soil, arghh :)

It is disappointing for my first hydro grow.

Hiya Shulman, Ive had similar probs with hydro, but hang in there, itll be worth it, takes a while to dial it in properly. Id say that 500ppm is too low for those plants, they are well established and look like they need nitrogen badly. You could try dropping the pH a bit too, say to 5.6. With canna nutes, the pH tends to go up, then down again, at least in my hands. Canna say that you dont need to fiddle with the pH in the res once you have set it properly when making up a fresh batch of nutes, but I dont know is this is really the case for everyone.

How are you feeding them, run to waste or recycling? Drippers or flood and drain or what?

Try upping the nutes a bit and see what happens for a couple of days maybe?

Hi Prof,
I did have the ppm up at around 800 for a few days to see how they got on, and I did notice a little of what looked like nute burn, so I added water to lower it again.
The system Im using is an atami wilma, it is basically a recirculating drip setup with a rez and pump.

One thing I didnt do in the beginning was soak the clay pebbles in PH fixed water overnight, and so I had some problems with ph rising which I countered with phosphoric acid.

As you can tell it seems to be 2 different genotypes of the same strain :) happy days, the wee dark one is older and shooting off 4 small little pistils already...3 weeks into the grow too, the other one is lighter and taller, I planted 2 in the bucket 1 day apart germination wise as one cracked earlier but what's a day? I should be having a fun christmas holiday this year.

oh and i ordered them from the irishseedbank

Never grew any auto's jingle, will in the near future tho.

Was having a read about this strain, like the way its crossed with a kush for a nice body stone.

Are you going to do a journal? Would love to see how it turns out man

Alright Richie, Dont think i will do a journal but will be posting pics and looking of rhelp in this forum. Im only doing it because i fucked up 3 of my other autos...I think i over water way to much going to pull them at the weekend. my other 3 are stuill growing but very very very stunted. Think they had severe mag deffiency too and nute burn....man this shit is hard. I am going to try and keep the flowerpower as simple as possible not going to give them any nutes at all.....All i want is a harvest, is that too much to ask...lol....

What kinda nutes are you useing? How regularly are you watering/feeding your girls?

When watering and using nutes less is more, there is a very fine line between fed and over fed. Keeping the plant on this line is quite hard with manual watering/feeding compared to hydro or drip irragation systems. Try and keep the top 3/4 of the plant green and dont worry about lower leaves dyeing off. Iv seen plants givin next to nothing but water and sun and still producing some decient bud
