thats an aweful long veg time, are the rewards worth it in the long run? whats your best yeild from the mainlineing method... obvious it has it other advantages like you must be able to very easily control height and canopy etc...

My average yield with a properly vegged mainlined plant is about 0.80-1.00oz per head (veg time mentioned previously), with 400w lights I use at my alternate location for patients. I`m hoping to do about the same here, except more on the 4-headers

The thicker stems allow the plant to practically inhale nutrients so the buds are all large, and there is no popcorn buds. I use all trim for ice-extract hash and get 4, 8, 16 nice big buds :D. And canopy control is one of my main reasons, pretty anal about level :p. Sure does add some weight to a strain that lacks but makes up in potency

Stoned ... you probably wanted figures (and I have them ALL written down, haha), saw an average of 10-15% increase in yield from my ScrOG runs to the Mainline with ScrOG assistance

**Edit - The 2-3 extra weeks tops seems worth it to me, haven`t looked back since **

some nice figures there when you add it up, and no popcorn makes it all the more atractive a venture, had a flick through nugbuckets thread when he first had it up and always tought it was a great way to grow a plant, i like an even canopy myself but not so anal just yet, maybe when theres some filled jars in the house and thats not an issue hahahahaha

the buds are quite spectacular from mainlineing, you say "400w lights" how many you run? i run a single 600w at the minute and results are great considering a started with some lowly 10w and 20w cfls and no clue what i was doing...

do you find theres a point where the plants plateaux on the nutes or is it ever increaseing ?

Good bit of sunshine outside now, spring seems to be here. I got an allotment this year which will have loads of veggies sprouting soon, and maybe a few clones going out in june/july to scrog outdoors and keep low lol. Seen you had a few veggies on the go AE, hopefully we get a decent summer. I have some decent hope though, fingers crossed.

yeah in the same stream as yourself should see sprouts soon, thin i messed up on the potatoe drills tho, time will tell.... weather changed here this morning from blue sky to cold and wet... fingers crossed tho for a good summer....

scrogging outdoor sounds like a good idea, you`ll want to piss everywhere tho or the rabbits will eat it on you...

what you got going at the minute? just hung my cfl`s so blazeing a little over 800w on the flowering girls now, should make the yeild a bit better....

the stretch always comes at the worst time hahahahaha... i have only managed one or two grows where canopy was even all the way to the end, not the end of the world tho..

whats the expected outcome of this one? or do you gauge each grow for yeild or just let it happen if that makes sence to you?
I'm guessing 7oz for the co-op pretty much like the last but the trim made about 10oz of butter so have some cooking to do. Yeah the purple, I think we may have got the purple green crack pheno its the one everyone tries to catch but we shall see with time. As for my run It's my own personal time using ebb & flow (kind of like a combo of soil and hydro if you use rockwool) didn't figure I needed to calibrate my meter like a dumb ass and it was 10.8 off so out of six I'm down to three and it may be two before the end but the two are very very healthy and big, they are the elephant stompers and they already smell dank. Ill put up some pics this weekend, I need to change my res out and clean it its been about 2 weeks since I have done it last. Im just using an MH bulb the entire run its suppose to keep them shorter and tighter buds bud once again we will see.

Just found a pic I snapped last night, I was stoned so I forgot but here are the 3 two big ones and one hopefully someday big:

hahahahaha has created a few of them hahahaha, get that girl into a bigger pot, should go hempy with it, its simple, get say an old paint pot, you now the 20 liter plastic ones and drill hole 2 inchs from bottom, fill to hole level with stone, can use pea stone, aquarium stone hell even stones from about the garden this creates a little res, sprinkle a little soil over it, place plant in center and fill around it and up to the base of growth, it don`t matter if the plant doesn`t reach the top of the pot, you can fill it to the top once it gets up over it, the idea behind it is the roots have constant food/water, you can flush easy and it gives great growth rates too, saves going hydro if you like the soil like me....
Good to see the irish thread still alive, havnt checked back here in a long while :D never seen that done before with the wee res on the bottom, would it not cause root rot if the roots are exposed to stagnant water and not aerated, im considering using hydro for next grow, maybe DWC, it looks cheap to make, but i was always organic im growing some LA Cheese from bigbuddha seeds, got 11 under 600w in 1st week of flower, also have one outside so gona see how that gets on, hopefully good as its indica dominant so mite resist the crappy weather we do have, im looking into organic compost tea's looks very interesting, has anyone ever used teas for there soil? indoor/outdoors?
