The Karpen Pile (power companies hate this)

So, I click on the ad.

Stupid ad, don't bother. But, it is about something I had not known. So I found a bit more about it.
Seems real. Seem like an effect, that can't be explained.

2 solutions in layers, alcohol on top. A cathode at the bottom, anode in the alcohol layer.
0.4 v potential for some un-explained reason. And it seem to be perpetual. This is a no BS, citizen experiment to simply show the voltage. So, why is it ignored, (not hated?)

I doubt if it can produce current. Current is work, potential voltage difference is not.

where do you put the flux compositor in to go back to 1973

I think that's a thermosiphoner which converts ambient temperature into electricity... not much electricity is created but yeah its free and it works.

It's hard to say, what it is doing but that's as good an idea as any. It could be easily tested. Does temp effect the voltage?

It doesn't seem to.....more tests are needed.

It seems to be a simple concentration cell with the alcohol layer enforcing the ion gradient. No magic, and no (sic!) potential. cn
