edit: nevermind good sir, I had a brainfart and got my product names mixed up. Calcarb huh? That reminds me that I have a bag of that sitting unopened in a tote in my basement. May have to give it a shot one of these days, I've been very pleased with Xtreme's other products so far.

I use folar for my dwc, works fine so far nice n bushy in veg how they should be!
Edit: i dont think you could get all the nutrients that way lol..

That's fine, but do not substitute foliar feeding for feeding at the roots.

So is there NO value in this technique? Yes the roots absorb BY FAR more than the leafs... What about when it rains in nature? Explain Uncle Ben.. I know you have alot of knowledge to explain...

Foliar spray if you have a deficiency. If you do, then there's something wrong with your root system, soil, nutrient solution. Does that make sense?
There is no substitute for root uptake. Nutrient salts are indigenous to the soil, not the air.

I run flood tables with multiple strains growing simultaneously on occasion and find foliar feeding helpful in keeping the more nute hungry plants happy.

Hi on and all.. I tried a sample of Liquid-Light : foliar feed and have to say the leaves loved it... its weird because you apply the spray WITH THE LIGHTS ON !! you mix the LL with an applicator..which opens up little holes in the leaves.. then the LL does its thing and allows the leaves to intake more light etc and speeds up the process of photosynthesis. My lady loved it and I will defo be using it again upon my next grow - STELTHY

Whoever said you have to have the lights off? I can see thousands of farmers who foliar feed their crops spraying their fields in the dark LOL.Hi on and all.. The issue is the stomata (the "holes") closing down because of high heat.
