Okay guys this will be my grow journal. I am what you call an intermediate grower. I have had a few soil grows and I have grown exclusively with hydroponics for almost a year but then I moved and before I could re set up and went to jail for a stupid thing and am now a whole year removed from growing and am starting up again. Any way, my old site was a long closet 6' x 2.5' that I seperated into two seperate rooms for veg and bloom 3 x 2.5' ea. I ran with 9 cfl 42 watters on each side and an extra 50 watt HPS on the bloom side for 4 girls in each. It was rather succesful but I always wanted to go bigger and better. Soooooo the construction has begun on another double room type setup. Both sides will be 3' x 4' running 600 Watt HPS on each side. A closet is also being setup as a cloner with a top shelf for drying. These pics below are the initial construction I will be installing the a.c. in the first side and all the hoses soon. It's going to be righteous when it's all done. By the way the first crop will be explicitly bag seed from some serious mids I picked up. It was good green but a tad seedy so I saved the kiddies to use on my first go round til i get the good ones in the mail. All right so it's been 10 days and the rooms almost finished. A.c. is in the first half and all i'm waiting for is the lite. 400 watt HPS on each side is what i'm going for. May do switchable ballasts i'm not sure yet. I definately wanna go digital. It's expensive but still with what I've read about it seems like a good fit. i figure another 10 days i will have my lite and will be ready to rock. Tmorrow morning seeds go under the dark. After that I got 2 17 watt flourescents for the seedlings including a dome kit and all. I will post more pics in the next day or 2 and then my next post will be in about 7 to 10 days.

Okay...wow a whole month before i am almost done with the building of the room and putting it together and buying almost everything i need. anyway financial problems ended up making me scrap plans for digital lites. i ended up going the home depot way and buying 3 100 watt flourescents and 2 70 watt hps lites. a total of 440 watts and 41,500 lumens. The spectrum seems to be pretty good also. Thats per side so really its 880 watts total. Let's see also i got in my seeds i ordered from nirvana. White widow and nothern lights x skunk. That place is awesome man within 2 weeks i was good to go. unfortunately i didnt sprout them first so they will have to go in the next crop. The seeds i did sprout are some really good 40 a qtr mids. I bought and ounce and it had 12 seeds in the whole lot so i figured fuck it why not do a dry run while im waiting for my goodies. So far 10 have come up and they are under the seedling flouros now. i'm off tomorrow and the next day and i promiseto have new pics up then. also i will stay on top of this journal more now that my shit is acually going.

Alright 8 of my mid seeds popped and they are in the mini bubbler waiting on the rooms to get finished. The rooms are looking awesome these pics that I am posting are from about 2 weeks ago. My batteries in my piece of shit cheapo digital died again so when i go to wal-mart 2 morrow i will take more pics cuz i'm pretty proud of myself. The 3 100 watt CFL's are mounted and ready to hang, the exhaust fan is in place, the a.c. is in place and the bubblers are ready to go. I got my grow calendar with nutrient rates ready to go also. I still gotta go get 2 70 watt hps lites and one more 20 watt reg flouro. I'm adding 3 20 watt flouros at the bottomfor supplemental lighting on the bottom. The second side will only have one 400 hps and the 3 20 watt supplemental lighting. I still gotta get a Co2 dispenser but i may have to wait til the second crop.
My seedligs stretched a little because the flouros i had them under weren't bright enuf. Trying to go cheap so i went and invested in a 60 watt flouro light with right temps so hopefully they will perk up and be str8 by the time they go into the big bubblers. So my next report will be on the 19th, the first day i transplant them into the big bubblers. Ok. I can't seem to get the pics to upload it keeps asking me for a URL...WTF. I guess i figure it out.

okay here are some of the pics i took a couple of weeks ago im waaaay past this now but i will have more soon.

alright today is the 19th and tonite plants go in the first bubblers. i got some more pics of the set up that i am posting now and after i get them in under the litesyou will get pics of the plants . In these pics i've added the flouros for supp. lighting there are 1 on each side and still one that goes in between the bubblers. I gotta go to the hydro shop and get a tds meter today and a temp gage to turn the ac on and off when needed and trigger the vent fan. I found a diy odor cleaner in the grow faqs that i will build next week. i got the fan and the tub and now fust gotta get some ONA gel. any way so far so good. check around the 22nd once the plants are in and roots hit the water the pics will be posted.
