That's cool Mo, had that happen to an Afghan back in the 70's, outdoor grow. She was growing in the woods near my place, she was a lovely bitch, stunk like all get out. I could smell her if the wind was right when I came off the highway on the dirt road up to my place. About two weeks after I chopped her I went back out to the grow area to clean up and she was a little bush, with a three inch trunk, lol. Could not do anything with her, her being grown outside, I tried to cover her from the cold, but no luck.

Oh btw, she was a big bush of a plant, about 5 to 6 feet tall, and at least that wide, got 1.25 lb off of her, and that was just bud, had all kinds of trim and popcorn.

If anyone knows a botanist, I have a few leaves from her I would like to see her grow again. She was pure land-race Afghan. Buddy was with the CIA, he always said he worked for a private development company, yea right! He had been working in Afghan when the got the buds. It was absolutely some of the best I have ever smoke, and I went to a local after grow get together and when I opened my jar it turned heads, and this was about 6 good growers. That was way cool, I won the aroma, taste and high categories.

Another feeding and trimming today, went 3 plus days between watering, not bad for three gallon Hempy's, actually my two gallon Hempy's also went the same time, no adverse effects.Only problem was I was gone those days and the WW grew up into the T5 lamp and burned a couple of the leaves, not bad.

I am giving the 2 two gallon Hempy's a little more time as they are clones and not as developed as the mainlined girls. I have one of them an Ice at 4 and the other, a White Widow not going to mainline her and not sure I will have room for these two in the cabinet. Have been thinking about outside, but if y'all been keeping up with my post you know I am about to get a new unwanted neighbor.

Anyway here are a few pics at today's feeding and minor trim.

One thing I have noted with this grow, the WW is a very symmetrical plant. I think it is going to make a great mainline grow.

WW symmetrical .jpg

Every one of the 14 branches are like this, so even in its growth. Now not all branches are growing at the same rate, but not that bad.

We made gels back in college that had root hormone and we could grow plants from any part of the plant. Stems can become roots and tips - that is where the term stem cells comes from - they can become anything depending on the hormone mixture. I just think you need stem cells to make a viable plant. It is easy to do and you could do it with a little research on line.

Hey guys just putting it out there, but I could swear mainlining works much better if you use the very first node, then the very first node off that,if that makes sense?Ive run side by side comparisons and the difference has to be seen to be believed
The pics are on page one of this thread. You are correct the first node is where it happens. It is really cool to see that for the first time. It makes so much sense, and the proof is really in the pudding, so eat your meat lol. This method is exactly what I need for my medical grow. I will use Afgan clones at first then feminize to see the seed difference.

Some fine looking mainlining going on in this full page of pics. 1 might have to reach for a bag of froozen ice to cool off.

An MO funky looking revegging pic. looks like a wild amazonian rain froest unleashed from the top looking straight down.

  • I use a T5 for seedlings and clones till the first cut to begin ML, then they are moved to my Cabinet under a California Light Works SS400 LED.
They stay under that light 24/7 and also after I switch to 12/12. I change grow setting from Veg to Flower then the last few weeks I add the 2 UV florescence.

The Cabinet, grow space, 30"x36"x6'. insulated and mylar lined. Intake air from inside of house and exhaust through a 4' Phresh filter and pulled by a 200 CFM Wind Tunnel fan.

Last grow in cabinet, Subcools Querkle and her clone, the Grand Daddy Purple and it's three clones turned out to be dudes.

And the finished product, tight buds, extremely sugary, and my buddy rates it at 9 to 9.5 on high.

This grow is Amsterdam seeds White Widow and Nirvana Ice, 2 Ice and 1 WW mainlined in 3.5 gallon Hempy buckets and 1 WW clone not mainlined in 2 gallon Hempy bucket.

In order of appearance! WW bush, WW ML, Ice ML and Ice 2 ML.

    Peace out,
