The Mexification of America.

Yeah, that'd be real bright. Let's tell our number one (or two, Canada may be number one) supplier of oil to fuck off.
Mexico depends on us far, far more than we depend on them. We could put them in a clinch if we wanted to. Imagine if we simply disallowed illegals from sending money back to Mexico. Their economy would collapse.

USAsians were let to settle there, but was still a part of Mexico, then you claimed its independency!! how's that? you fought your southern states when they claimed their independency too, and of course you didn't do that in the name of "freedom", by the time Mexico was far more free than the US, for example we abolished slavery 40 years before you did, and proclaimed equality more than a century before you, in USA blacks even had to travel at the backside of buses, give seats to whites, imagine
Once again you have your history wrong. After living in Texas for decades and building it up in to something, The Mexican government decided to kick the INVITED settlers out .The US then annexed Texas since it was basically 100% American and American built. The Mexican army began to kill civilians along the Texas border, so the US sent troops to there. That was the beginning of the end for Mexico.

You don't invite another country to move into Texas and then try to kill them when you change your mind.Especially when you are dealing with the US.

As far as slavery goes, I wish we never brought slaves to this country. It was our ancestors that made the money off them, now we are just stuck with them.....Lincoln should have sent them back to where they came from. But that's another thread entirely.

Interesting....

Send them back where exactly? Africa is a continent....not a country.

AND...you're not talking about walking across an imaginary line like the Mexican/American border.

Make it IMPOSSIBLE to get work in this country illegally. Fine businesses, something like, $10,000 per illegal worker. Then secure the border. Then replace mexican workers on worker programs with a MIX of people from around the world. America is the MELTING pot, not the bean and tortilla soup pot. I have nothing against Mexico, or Mexicans, but their country has more natural resources than ours. It's just the rediculous corruption in your country that fucks things up. If 20 million people that have had a taste of a sweeter life head back to Mexico I think it could really stir things up. I think it could really end up helping Mexico as well.

And please don't bring up the whole, this use to be our land argument. Nobody likes a cry baby. If you want land, get it like everyone else does. Fight for it. :peace:

Yes I know this is a hard point to talk about. But I feel that since Lincoln freed the slaves ( which I think was the right thing to do ) we should have taken them back to their homeland where they were forceably taken from.If you were kidnapped and taken to iran to be a slave, wouldn't you want to get back to your country of origin?

As far as where any individual person came from, I suppose they could have asked them?Seems reasonable enough.

The fact that I am paying a price for these disgruntled people still being here is why I feel this way.Affirmative action,Al Sharpton, demands for reperations, violence, and crime are the wonderful things I now have in my life because we kept these folks here.If we could get over the " you still owe me for the slavery of my ancestors " bullshit and have everyone be EQUAL I would not care .

I agree, those illegals shouldn't be there, It's the right wingers who encourage migration, and they look for a migration agreement, but nobody used here "it's our land" argument, read the thread first.

except for the fresh slaves brought from africa, you had millions who born in USA, and knew nothing about their origin, and where would you take them "back"? most African nations are relatively modern, created following the colonial borders
your ideas came as a result of smoking pot? It wouldn't surprise me If they did, so absurd...

Mexico invited the settlers there because the Mexicans had nobody living there and could do nothing with it( just like California and most of the SW United States ) . There were no conditions, no deadline to leave, nothing. So they came and settled. As I said AFTER we turned Texas into something worth a damn, then all of the sudden Mexico wanted it back. The folks who had lived there for decades refused to leave. They had nowhere to go.Texas was now their home with the invitation given by Mexico. There were skirmishes between Mexican soldiers and civilians, usually resulting in the civilians being killed. Then the U.S. did annex Texas , which was more or less already a state in our union. It was almost 100% American, governed by Americans , following American law.We sent troops to the RIo Grande and warned Mexico to stop killing civilians.Of course they didn't listen. So we marched our army all the way to Mexico City.

Lessons learned:

1.)Never give a piece of land that size to another country to do with as they please.Especially if that country can kick your ass in a military conflict.

2.) Don't mess with Texas.

Absolutely right sir. And I am shocked to see you in the politics forum here FDD.Usually you are smart enough to avoid it.
I need to stay out of here more, as I always seem to stir up trouble .

I meant it in a good way for the most part. You would think they would want to go home.Oh wait I forgot no matter how bad things were here for them they still knew it was better than going back to the bush.

I am just sick of paying the price for slavery when my family wasn't even here at the time on my mother's side, and my father's side were living in the North and didn't own slaves....

i can't see how anyone can argue with the fact that illegal mexicans in the US are a problem. i live right in the middle of it all. we don't spray paint gang signs on our own fences. we don't clutter the isles of the local wal-mart. we don't fill every medical clinic in town. they do. tell me otherwise.

Hell all the wineries up there hire tons of aliens. The town of St. Helena has only 2 types of people.Millionaire winery owners and the illegals who work for them. And they all shop at the same Safeway :blsmoke:.

Our government needs some brave politicians in California who will not bend on this issue due to the " latino vote ".That is the problem- all of the millions of illegals we gave amnesty in the past are holding our state hostage- if any officials try to end illegal immigration they will not get the latino vote.I say fuck the latino vote.Save our country. All the businesses that hire illegals? fine their asses into the ground.Deport the illegals, someone else will do the job for a little more money but it will get done right.

I'm telling ya man, I am going to sell my house here and by a cabin in Monte Rio and live out my days as a crazy river hermit.

wanted it back? it was still Mexico, how "want it back"?
you marched into Mexico city because we refused to sell you the rest of our territory, then you stole it by force

What you do not understand Maco is this.
Corporations exploit illegals at the expense of the American worker.
They keep wages down and raise the unemployment rate amongst American citizens.
Example:
In the 1980's and early 1990's the going rate for a carpenter started at $13.00 an hour. Now it is hard for a master carpenter to make over $8.50 an hour. ( a trip to Home Depot will prove this)
Oil Drilling rigs is one of the more dangerous jobs going in the US, due to the danger the rate of pay is high, (starting wage is about $19.05 an hour) But the rate of pay should be higher. The reason the wages aren't high is because the oil drilling companies play the "if you don't like it, there are plenty of Mexicans who would be happy to have your job.

I have nothing against Mexican people or any other race, I just want them to come here legally and assimilate to the American ways.
Besides, Mexican immigration laws are a lot tougher than ours, we just want to make our as tough as the Mexican immigration laws.
