The Miracle Of Miracle Grow - For everyone who puts MG down MUST SEE

Ok, I am an 80% true organic grower (not organic nutes - more like chicken droppings, castings, multch ect. True organic, I always say mother nature does not come in a bottle.

On occasions I will supplement my natural organics with Miracle Grow basic products. Here is my testimonial:

I had a neighbor that had their plant in a small pot outside their house. It looked horrible and in fact it was embarrasingly dead. Well almost. I dug a hole in my organic garden (veggies, fruits, you name it its there) I have about 6 inches of dark rich soil, below that the well known bedrock/red mud dirt, sounds like a funny mix. Its what mother nature put there and seems to take to roots very nicely.
I let that plant sit a few days in the new home without touching it. Of course it didnt change that much. Then I dosed it up with my normal specially measured blend of MG Bloom Booster to match my soil content, I added a teaspoon of epson salt to the gallon and the second picture is approximately 3-5 days later.
I know what your thinking, the organic soil of my garden fed it, right? Well that would be true if I had put fresh soil into the hole, it was just what was there from last year. In my opinion I agree with MG shouldnt be the sole product to grow good plants(any plant) neither should a bottled chem nute. I know its supposed to be all natural, BUT Mother nature doesnt come in a bottle, and should be free.
Organic growing is not for the lazy pothead, it takes a lot of work. I have been gardening since I was 10 years old, I am 33 now. My father always used MG while keeping a great true organic soil as a base. Thats why people turn to the bottled nutes, they work but does not produce a plant like mother nature. I can grow a zuchinii that melts in your mouth like butter.

Looks good. I never used MG nutes. Only soil and I hate it. I wish I would have tried some other soil. If it works for you than good job. I always tell people MG is ok if you know how to use it right. Most noobs over do everything and MG dont help either sooo. Thats why people put MG down. Because they were too inexperienced to use it accordingly....and ruined their crop. Its a fert like all others for the most part.

Miracle grow kills Earth worms yeah your plants look good this year but in 5 your soil well be clay or sand i bet you a hunderd dollars that some compost dug into the earth with all the bactria that can live around it and all the night crawler... your plants would do alot better year after year and tast alot better than killing off your top soil

I think I forgot to mention that this was an empty area way into the gardening season. I didnt do anything to that area this year. I have a double lot and anyone with veggie gardening experience knows that you should switch up your crops and grow different things in areas every few seasons. Thats what I do, every year after I uncover my mulch and others, I spread them out in the areas I will grow in and then run the tiller through. My garden has been planned since I was 10, believe me. I just thought it was amazing how this particular plant reacted to nearly empty soil and a good dose of MG. I am fortunate to have a double lot on my street. I get three harvests of corn a season. I have enough corn I gave probably a hundred ears of corn away to neighbors and have a freezer full. Im coming up on my final harvest. Thats what a good balance of MG could do, as said above, many over do it expecting "Miracles"

As with earthworms I use MG across garden as a supplement and have wonderful earthworm reproduction, that I believe is a horrid MG myth

I "WAS" a believer in the soil... time changes all of minds, unless ur an idiot.

MG is no way the best. Mother Nature is always the best, even if you get it from a bottle.

MG is a 'hot' soil, pretty deadly to the touchy strains. OH ya, one of the trace elements they don't put on the bag is the fruit flys. If you have nothing else and live in the desert, ya it'll work, but Fox Farm Ocean Forrest is way better for just a few dollars more.
