Hey there everyone, I'm back with another journal!

The lights: 2 x Vipar Spectra R900 LED panels covering a 5'x2' area.

The medium: B&G Organics Raised Bed &
Potting Mix with amendments added in 7 gallon smart pots.

The Strains: Scott's OG, 2x Big Gorilla, and ?

Training: Manifold, LST, Topping, Defoliation

I'm excited for this one as I'll be testing out two of the feminized seeds I bred over the summer. They're a cross between Big Diesel and GG#4 (hence the name Big Gorilla). The Scott's OG I'm hoping turns out to be female as it's hands down one of my favorite stains to grow, with trichome production similar to GG#4. The plant is about three weeks along so it should be showing its sex soon. The other seed is some random bag seed, I'm thinking could possibly be GSC.

I'll be manifolding the Scott's OG, the ?, and one of the BG girls, as well as trying out a 4 way top at the third node with some added LST on the other BG girl.

As always, respectful comments, questions, etc... are welcome. :)

And.... I'm back! :)

The random strain was starting show a lot of male characteristics around the second or third week of veg. This led me to cull him, and replace him with one of the fem'd Big G seeds I had started about a week into veg.

After a good 7-8ish weeks of veg, the girls are now in their second week of flower, loving these Vipar Spectra and looking nice and healthy. The Scott's OG is stretching like crazy and losing her form, she started getting too wide for the space, so I just let her go. The three Big G girls each had a few days difference in age, so I trained them accordingly to maximize space and veg time. The oldest was given a manifold, the second a four way top and LST'd at the third node, and the youngest was topped at the fifth node, super-cropped, LST'd, and FiM'd a bit (I should have cloned this girl lol).

Now for the stars of the show!

Ahhh.. The beauty of genetics and growing an unstable, 1st gen hybrid. Though each plant was flipped at the same time, all three of my Big Gorilla girls are showing off their differences in flower. The Scotts OG girl is pretty on point with my grows in the past. Here's some pictures of the bud structures from each.

Journal update: Correction to days in flower, as we are just now wrapping up the fifth week (day 35) of actual flower and six weeks from the 12/12 flip.

I had to pull the smaller Big Gorilla girl out of the closet due to her feeling the need to start sprouting pollen sacs. So, I chopped the tops of of her and will be turning the rest into bho or infused coconut oil. It was for the best though, now the other three girls can utilize the light better.

Other than that the other three girls are doing great!
