The official fox farms® thread

I have been using fox farm for years and I feel no need to change. When used correctly, it can produce wonderful harvests. Although, in certain instances, additives may need to be used. I always use some type of cal/mag to supplement the distilled water I use. Also, I never understood why Open Sesame, and Cha Ching have so much nitrogen in them. I haave experimented with certain strains by using only Beastie Bloomz and I feel it does better on its own. If money is an issue, it also helps because you only have to buy one product. Another additive I use is molasses during the flower stage. 1 tsp. per gallon makes those buds taste really nice! I also use it during the flushing stage. You could also use a finisher like Overdrive from advanced nutrients, or something of the like. Its about time someone stands up for Fox Farm. They have been around way before all of the other companies started popping up. So they must be doing something right to be around this long! I got some sweet pics I will post later to back up what I say. Puff Puff Pass

Getting ready for my first grow.
Im growing a few of Nirvana's Autoflowering N.L. in a 12'x3x3 area under 600watt HPS for flowering and Mh conversion bulb for veg.

A buddy of mine who has been my main source of knowledge behind RUI has preached using fox farm all the way.

As of late, Ive been leaning towards a hydroponics set up. However, I'd love to be convinced against it. The only argument my buddy has presented thus far has been that with soil is more forgiving and the nugs taste better. Anybody have anything else to add?

For now I'm more concerned with big yields more than anything.
