My Sativa is already 3ft tall and flowering, I have 1 plant that is about 1.5 ft tall with 3 colas that have been growing for about 2 weeks already, I have another 1.5 ft plant that hasn't flowered yet and I have a new seedling that popped out of the dirt miraculously almost 1.5months late. So I have a seedling under all the plants getting shade, I'm stressing it to grow into it's on place with light using a stick and the soap to hold the stick in place to guide it.

I am only using 1 book to keep them close to the lights now. I'm praising the 3ft Sativa because I believe it will be my most potent plant. but the one with 3 colas forming is pretty sexy.

the rest of the plants were males. I was going to keep them but they were literally killing me with the pollen. I thought I had lung cancer for a couple weeks. they swell up your lungs and you can't breathe if you inhale the pollen. so... don't do that. and that's my update.

holy crap...i did it...it took the course of a week during spare time but i actually just finished reading this entire thread...i started up my first grow bout a week and a half ago and it's been progressing along with my research and knowledge of growing while reading you guys on this thread. ive got 3 little guys goin now, was supposed to be 5. 4/5 germinated, 3/4 made it out successfully from breaking soil. i regret not having any pictures taken yet but once i do i think you'll agree with me when i say that i belong here lol...i have started a journal, i haven't added to it in a few days but it will at least shed some more light on what i have going on for the time being. pics are on my next agenda. so yeah how y'all doin?? you can just call me hesh if you'd like

but i got a couple large sized home depot cardboard boxes and a pack of coleman emergency blanket so my plans are on monday to construct a grow box for these guys

All of them except #9 are Blue Himalaya Diesel. It is a mystery auto flower strain. I have three others that are breaking soil today and two runts that will be finishing soon.

Hey thanks for the welcome Teflon the gius in the bagseed vrs. bought seed thread got me worried though. I'm using all bagseed and they got me worried that my plants will all be hermies... Can any of you guys shed some light on that?

they won't all be hermie

that would be winning the lottery twice

The tafster is quite correct. There would be no reason for a higher incidence of "hermies" from bag seed. Hermaphroditism is usually caused by stressing a mature plant. Good luck & good grow.......BB

thanks guys, honestly that helped put my mind at ease. these little guys are really startin to take off! will post more updated pics soon

or it can happen when you keep turning the lights on during the dark period, i found a bunch of very small seeds in a female plant on my last grow by one of the computer fans where light kept getting in. this was a grow with 2 females so there was no pollen at all, it can happen. you need total darkness when the lights go off. but with bag seeds, as soon as you see the male, it should show sex first, get that thing out of the grow area.
