If you are into DWC get the Hydros or Aqua Flakes formula, and get the complete line up. Follow the instructions at a diluted rate and you cannot go wrong. Just add Ca/Mg after the first 2 weeks of flowering and you will be fine. If you are doing DWC I probably wouldn't bother with Great White.

Wow that is a shit tin of hygrozyme mate. The bottle i have says 5-10 mL/ gal. Ive beeen using it at 10 mL / gal every watering. Gets exoensive fast! Do you use multi zyme by h&g also? Or just substitute hygrozyme in its place instead?

Thx!

Are you using H&G products in the US? I have studied the Australian mix charts and it says to use Multi Enzyme all the way through the flowering cycle. The US chart uses Multi Zyme and the chart says to stop using it in week 4 and start using Bud XL. I'm still learning these small variances.

Yes Im in the US, I have H&G the full lineup for soil with all additives, but I haven't used it yet. Using it for round 2, starting mid march most likely. Still finishing round 1 which was FF nutes.. :(

Thats my question...does RaiderFan use Hygrozyme AND H&G's Multi-Zyme, or does he just leave multi-zyme out?

Thanks!

I do not use the two together. I only use Hygrozyme in early veg and as part of my cloning mix. I always use it after using a flushing agent. I don't start the multi zyme until flower and stop when I start the budxl. I have used hygrozyme in the past when I had to use a flushing agent during flower just to give the beneficials a boost. I do not recall if it was while I was using the multi zyme or not. I would not think there would be any negative effects though. Oh and yes the hygrozyme does get pricey. I have two 50 gal reserviors in my flower room and two 20 gal res in my veg.
Just a note, I have run H&G with and without the multizyme and the there is a noticable difference. The multi Z does cause more agressive growth during the stretch( first 2-3 weeks of flower).

What does MultiZen/Zyme do for clones? And have either of you looked into using pond enzymes. From what I understand they are the same ingredients at a much higher concentration. This is all second-hand information, but according to a few experienced growers, the animal/plant safe pond enzyme concentrates you get from your local hardware superstore are nearly identical to products like Hygrozyme, minus the Yucca extract. The most diluted we could find online was 1,600x concentrated compared to Hygrozyme. These guys had a lot of success with it, I've never tried, but am super interested.

That is some interesting info there. I am not sure if I will be the ginni pig, but I would love to see the results of someone who will. ;)

D'oh! I just realized you said you used Hygrozyme for clones, not Multizen. But I used to have a bunch of handy links to some grows on another forum that showed the results of them. I would post them if I could remember which site it was on. Another plus of this pond enzyme is that it's $12-$25 USD, and will last you so long you'll probably throw half the bottle away in a year.

Hygrozyme and Multizen are really the same thing....Multizen is way cheaper though....Peace
Good to know. I was sort of wondering, but I hate to look stupid, lol. How is that Mad Farmer going along with your H&G? I know people with tattoo's of that shit, last time I used it was the first time I farmed, and I royally fucked it all up. I know it's awesome, but I'm scared of it now, just the memory made me nervous while applying Shooting Powder for the first time.

It's the same thing and costs the same...The saving is in the amount used. Multizen is used at half the ratio as Hydrozyme

If yore talkin about the MOAB then yeah....you gotta watch those PPMs....but the same goes for any end of the run booster....I like to run Mad Farmer's Nutrient Up Take Solution...or...N.U.T.S. to naturally lower ph and breakdown nutes during the week between rez changes...It's a Fulvic acid...But ...I stick with the Shooting powder for the late bloom booster....I know plenty of guys who use MOAB with H&G and have great results.....Peace and good luck

How much of the NUTS do you use to drop the PH what amount approx ? Very interested in this. I also use MOAB with great success. I no longer use H&G but it was good stuff. I didnt like how much my PH dropped using it. I have had the best luck with my PH using GH MAxibloom powder along with Floralicious Plus. Drops my tap (7.7) to 5.4 then very gradually goes up to 6.9 after a full week if left untreated. Been having GREAT results with ZERO PH Adjustments. As others have said letting the PH fluctuate some is good and makes different nutrients more available.
