I love House and Garden. My friend introduced me to the line and he gets 7 oz off each soil plant indoors.:o

The Magic Green and Root Accelarator are the ticket.
I use botanicare for my base nutrients.

I'm thinking now that my PH may be a bit low for this strain (LSD). I usually target my PH at 5.5, but looking at the nutrient uptake charts, phos absorption drops off dramatically at this PH. I'm going to bump the PH up and see if it helps.

So according to this chart you are supposed to foliar feed magic green during flowering?

Also is H&G like PBP, where it is almost organic with a few inorganics. Or is H&G all synthetic like GH.

im also doing some LSD right and had what looked like nutrient lock/ph out issues for a while... it just went away after a while and honestly i never could figure out exactly what the cause was... perhaps LSD is a special needs plant lol

Alright since we are on the topic of Magic Green, i have been running a 24 hour veg room.

Can i still use the magic green ?? it says only use before lights out and my lights never go out.

Just been wondering, they could use a little magic right now.

I would spray and turn the lights out for an hour maybe two (check the leaves to see if they are dry) and then back to 24/7.

I used it through veg without turning the lights out and have never had any burning or issues. It is the same if you treat then with any foliar treatment ..like azamax or somthing. Just my 2 cents.

[anyone have any idea why the budz would dry out faster and lose smell in late harvest?

tips just beginning to show a tad bit of burn towards end of 8th week and then began flush.

Nugz are choice....frosty as can be. Dense. Good yields. Just not as sticky or permeating smell. Its like the trich's are drier than usual. defntly different than how they finished with previous recipe.

I am using the soil 1 part in Pro Mix / Perlite. multyzyme, bud xl,top booster, shooting powder aggresive chart.

i would say the smell is strongest at 5-6 week and fades. old recipe with this strain was hard 2 carry. many thx

as far as the smell being the strongest at 5-6 weeks, i have noticed that many many strains have that trait, its pretty common... im not sure exactly why, but it just be that the terpenes let off odor as they develop or something, i really have no idea why it happens.

Mixing up a batch of magic green right now and just came to me should i ph the water before i add MG or after i add MG or even at all? Been looking up on the H&G sites and went thought all the post on here about MG but nothing about PH'ing the water for it. If i don't get a response before 1030 i will just go with out ph'ing, but would be some use full info for next time. Any feed back is appreciated, thanks all

Hey Hulk, I don't ph my water at all when using magic green and havent had any adverse reactions. My tap runs about 6.5-6.8 ph.
Oh and one thing when using magic green, make sure you rinse the application container out well after using..the shit will get rancid if you don't. I had a little left in my spray bottle once and just put it back on the shelf..the next week when I opened it up..it almost made me puke.

I love MG even though I dont run the full HG mix up. I use it when I feel like it. I do notice more green when the lights turn back on. Results in 12hrs. Better results when used almost full strength with a sticker/spreader. I ph(6.8 same I water with)and then warm the water before adding MG. I spray with a fine mist untill run off. Peace, SS

I've combed over this thread a few times, but still have a few questions....i'm using Soil A/B, is there a consensus on how often you should water with nutes? every other time? half strength each time?

I also have a significant magnesium deficiency going on, i'm about to use epsom salts to fight it...anyone want to talk me out of it?

I water with straight RO every few weeks and once a week druning the last 3 weeks due to shooting powder. I hand water every other day into 5 gal smart pots/coco coir with nutes the rest of the time.
