The people behind the violence in the American protests of George Floyd.

I forgot which thread I posted this in before, but anyone interested in hearing a good explanation of why people showing up to the protests armed is saying anyone who comes at them is going to have a gun pulled on them and that is inviting violence, not stopping it.

Scroll this video until you find this guy, he explains it much better than I can.Screen Shot 2020-09-01 at 4.05.47 PM.png

Both sides bring guns.

I agree - guns have NO place in a protest. For anyone.

That's like asking for trouble :(

The only 'both sides' nonsense is coming from the people who have picked a side, Trump's. You don't get to pick a side, then just claim everyone not on it is 'against' you.

No matter what I say, if I agree with you that the sky is yellow, you'll say the sky is blue.

Thanks for the laughs, honestly, but I don't feel like banging my head into the wall anymore.

I was actually really trying to find a way to agree with you, it was really close, but you keep angling everything as some defense of Trump, and you have not shown any real ability to be a person and not a Trump troll for more than almost an entire post.

you should be locked in a cage.

They aren't satisfied. Ever. They killed a woman for no good reason and then ginned up a false story about Breonna Taylor being a drug dealer.

Lawyer: Plea offer implicated Breonna Taylor in drug ring

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A lawyer for Breonna Taylor’s family said a plea deal was offered to an accused drug trafficker that would have forced him to implicate Taylor, who was killed by police in a raid on her home in March.

Louisville’s top prosecutor acknowledged the existence of the document but said it was part of preliminary plea negotiations with a man charged with illegal drug trafficking and not an attempt to smear Taylor.

Taylor family attorney Sam Aguiar posted a photo on social media Monday that he said was a plea offer to Jamarcus Glover from prosecutors. The photo of the document appeared to show Taylor listed as a “co-defendant” in illegal activities leading up to April 22, weeks after her death.

“Why would they put her name on there?” Aguiar said in a statement sent to news media. “It’s outrageous.”

Jefferson County Commonwealth’s Attorney Tom Wine said that document was a “draft that was part of pre-indictment plea negotiations.”
Taylor was fatally shot March 13 in her home by police serving a narcotics search warrant as part of a wide-ranging police operation targeting Glover, Taylor’s former boyfriend. Glover and others were arrested on drug trafficking charges the night Taylor was shot.

Please cite where "the guy" told his supporters to punch protesters in the face?

Last time I heard that, it was from Biden.

Happy to review :)
Why are you even here if your don't know the facts? You talk about debate but then you're completely ignorant. I asked you to bring up a topic and you slithered away by saying you didn't have time or some other bullshit? Are you 14 or just ignorant?

We agree on at least one thing. And probably a lot more. But trump isn't one of them.

I have friends that voted for trump. They won't do it again. In fact they don't even want to talk about him so we don't. One friend told me that when he voted he thought he was voting for the less of two evils as both candidates were terrible. Saying it was the worst 2 choices in election history. Hell I can't stand Clinton either. It's really a shame that with 330 million people the best we could come up with was Clinton and trump.

Oh, I just got back from downtown. I parked, walked to my destination, strolled around for a bit, and came home. Didn't see one fire or act of violence. But come nightfall the same 100 - 200 people with gather at one of several locations, light fires in the streets, vandalize, throw rocks at the police, and then scatter before dawn. They think they're doing something but all their doing is sowing violence.

When the Feds were here they were not just protecting Federal property. They were roaming around in unmarked vehicles and snatching people off the street blocks away from any federal property like in some third world country ran by a dictator. They would hold them for the maximum 72 hours and then release them without charges. They exceeded their mission of protecting federal property and instead went on an intimidation mission which I can guarantee came from trump himself. When they couldn't be intimidated someone smart told trump to back off before any civilians got killed by Federal LE because the images would be devastating for his Presidency. It would be trumps Kent State. If you're not old enough to know about it look it up. But basically 4 student protesters were killed.

The entire right/left nonsense is ridiculous. I'm not right or left. I'm an American. I'll vote for both Democrats and Republicans. I vote based on qualifications and trump was not qualified to be President so I didn't vote for him. My first vote for President went to Ronald Reagan. I also voted for Bush and Obama. Both twice. McCain might have gotten my vote had he not picked that idiot sarah palin. Once I heard her talk the choice was easy. Damn she's the dumbest grifter ever. Pure trash and an embarrassment to America that she would even be on a Presidential ticket.

The reality in Portland is not trumps alternate reality. If you happen to be at the protesters gathering site between 11:00 pm and 4:00 am you might see a small fire in the street or a dumpster set ablaze. Other than that Portland is not burning to the ground. There are not mobs of protesters roaming the streets 24/7. As for the killing the other night, both parties were there looking for a fight. Unfortunately one guy came with bear spray and the other a gun. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what the outcome of that altercation was going to be. The deceased drew and sprayed his bear spray first. The assailant drew his gun and fired. Two middle aged white guys filled with hate, looking for a fight, and one died. It's tragic and sad. I wish the guy didn't lose his life. I might not have liked him if I met him but I wish he hadn't lost his life over nothing. Which is what happened. And, I want the killer in jail, tried, convicted, and sent to prison. He's no hero. He's an avowed Antifa that's made comments about supporting his brothers meaning black people. Well Black people don't want his kind of support. He's a murderer nothing more.

I've been looking for more information on this killing. All I have is a name of the deceased and saw nothing on online media about his killer. You seem to know more about the incident. A link to a source, if you have one would be appreciated. I don't see anything about the killer being white, bear sprayed, their age, sex or if he was "looking for a fight". Are you making shit up or do you actually know?

gun in holster, billy club, fingerless gloves to protect the hands while throwing them.

yeah, I go to church dressed like that too. A real peaceful fellow. His kind are a canker sore on this country. I'm glad he's dead. Not saying I'm glad he was murdered or that it was justified but I don't feel his presence as something I'll miss.

Is this the effect of not paying attention in History class?

Nationalism/Jingoism
Propaganda
The Civil War
Jim Crow
McCarthyism/Red Scare
WW2
19th C/ 20th C immigration
1918 flu

Do you remember the meatheads who disrupted class or never paid attention? It seems like these meatheads are voting adults and victims of Trump and Putin.

BLM does not want this guy associated with them. Antifa and BLM are two different groups. 48 years old and still hasn't grown up.

Here he is taking his daughter armed with a bat to a protest.

He's been involved with other incidents involving guns but he was the one that was shot.

Another mentally disturbed white man. I hope the justice system is understanding of his troubled mind. (said in sarcasm font).

Thanks for the update. Agree with you that Antifa and BLM are different groups with some overlap in their objectives. Antifa should not be protesting under the BLM banner. That said, I feel that Portland's police and the Mayor let events spin out of control and so I lay blame for the Patriot Prayer asshole's death at their feet. This was all too predictable. The only surprise I had when I read about the murder was that a fascist got it. This time.

I hope the killer receives the justice he deserves. I'd also like it if Portland could ban all guns in the streets but I know that's not going to happen. Unless the police return to the policy of keeping the two groups apart and clearing the streets when violence breaks out, we will see more of this.

I take note that the killer's sister received threats well ahead of any public knowledge about the killer's identity. Fascists are alive and thriving in Portland's police force.

Sad, loss of human life :(

Definitely needs a full investigation before we all go to crazy town (myself included LOL)
I wanted to apologize to you for saying you haven't made any non-troll posts here. This one was defiantly fully on point.

Oh, see my post below where the Democrats are encouraging violence....

Great folks....

Biden, who just won resoundingly the Democratic nomination for the president of the Unites States of America, disagrees with that strongly.
