Can anyone of you please explain to me why every time i grow seeds and make a clone out of the mother, the clone looks the same as the seedling but The clone NEVER TASTE THE SAME as the seedling? I have tried taking a clone from the top of the plant and also the middle of the plant but the clones always looses its flavor by A LOT making it unrecognisable. Same nutrients, same room. BUT if i make a clone from a clone then they are similar in every aspect but seedlings to clones is my problem.
I always take my clones from seedlings around week 7-9. Thats when they show their sex.
I have spoken to a few people about it and NOBODY can explain it.
Been pheno hunting for a few years now and spent a crap load of money. luckily for me im so picky that i rarely find anything to my likes, but when i do I’m screwed.
There are 2 other things i would also like to try before i give up and that’s growing the plants for like 4 months to make sure the plants are fully mature. and also take multiple clones from the same plant to see if one differs from the other.

Maybe it's the age and maturity of the plant stock?? I know for a fact that I've flowered seed grown plants at about 30 days veg, that didn't come out as nice or as flavorful as a cut off the same plant grown later and vegged for longer.

Or are you saying the seed grown plants taste better??. ..??

I've never experienced what you're describing. I pop seeds semi-frequently. When i find something that looks interesting, I'll clone it and run from those clones for a few cycles. My experience has been that the aroma/flavor is the same, but the structure and vigor is different in the clones than the original. Usually the original seed plant has more vigour, and the clones have tighter structure.

I do not experience taste loss or smell difference in clones. I feel like seeds have more vigor than clones personally and I get more branches off a seed. Clones the structure is less uniform with nodes alternating. That's about the only difference.

How are you comparing? The clones might be more or less ripe when your harvesting if your going off a calendar not reading the plant. That's my best guess

Unless its a sport branch no i just find seeds more vigorous they taste the same ime be it cut or seed plant minus the rare exception i mentioned in my experience

My plants are not rootbound and i never reveg plants. I do agree that plant structure on a clone is better than seedlings but i was mostly talking about bud structure when i said they looked the same. Im beginning to think that there is something in my water that’s affecting the plants DNA or something. Although after the seedling stage i don’t see any difference with all other clones from clones.
It’s a fucking mistery and i bet I’ll never get the answer because i seem to be the only person in the freaking world with this issue.
Maybe it’s the atrazene in the water. Apparently it turns male frogs into females (kind of). Could explain why i get a lot of seeds when i grow in my stress free growing environment. I have also tried a reverse osmosis but i get the same results. Got my well water tested and it’s fine. Low calcium, alkalinity and 50ppm. Also got iron bacteria in my water but apparently it does not affect plants.

Clones normally finish flowering faster than a seed plant. Are you harvesting at the right time and not to late by leaving the clone to flower as long as the seed plant did ?

I go by pistil colour but in my experience rarely did i ever see a clone finish faster than a seedling.
Clones usually finish faster than seedlings of the same, ask about im sure many will tell you similar. Its is very rare a cutting will go aslong as a seed plant. Thats probably your issues. Your probably over ripening. As a test cut a few samples off earlier than normal. Try one 10 days earlier, and another sample at 7 days earlier. Cure and dry them properly and see how you get on. Nothing to lose by taking small samples, but potential alot to gain. Try it.

I’ve never had the issue. I grow seeds, clone what I like then I take clone from the clone from the clone. Always the same flavor and smell.

Either you are harvesting at different time as in early, or your dry and cure is different or maybe you are just mislabeling your clones.

I did that and i see no difference

You didn't mention that before, harvesting a plant 10 days earlier or 10days late can be a massive difference. You got pictures of these clones your growing and them as seed plant, both at the point just before harvest.
