And where is that?

It seems desired destination is under debate.

No wonder we aren't making any progress.
Bingo! That’s what this thread is about:

Progress..and why we don’t make it. We can’t even act civil towards a KIND gesture at a moment of crisis.

I'm not voting for them until they stand of what I want from government- and until they get rid of Superdelegates.
lol.. with our two party system you just kinda have to vote for what most closely aligns with your values. The alternative is a majority on the Supreme Court that go totally against your values. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night but the not voting until they stand for what you want is definitely counter productive and you will find yourself on the outside looking in more often.. But at least you'll have your principles I suppose.

I really admire how you're not just another sheep bruh I really do so please dont take this as a personal attack... and maybe just maybe at some point history wont continue to repeat itself and the government will actually represent the people.

At some point, has become now.

The line in the sand has been drawn.

Yes, Swype on an old phone is a hassle.

That's a flawed and self serving analysis. Since you agree with it I'm not going to bother convincing you otherwise.

After all, it's too easy to convince stupid people that the opposition is morally degenerate.
In other words you just make it up. So, I'll tell you the truth that is backed up by real research and not the noise in your head.

Trump won because his rhetoric attracted racist and misogynist leaning voters in numbers not seen for several decades.

The cult of Sanders' made up "Democratic Model" is absurd and in no way explains past and especially not future election results.

To put it more broadly, not a fan of fakery.

Political Correctness is simply a matter of being civil to each other and avoiding gratuitous insults. I hold the door for anybody who is coming in right after me. Don't you? Or are you so numb that you have to stand there and think about it first?
First of all this is not about PC; it’s about C in general.

Second, holding a door for someone is C.

I recently held the door for someone at my Parkland doctors office she was going out as was I..she turned around and bitched at me for holding the door for her..she’d rather do it herself. She has to use the aid of crutches MS type..and touching the door in any way ‘throws’ her off. So after yelling at me, she grudgingly thanked me and we parted ways.

I walked away with tears because I was only trying to help..so no, I’m not numb.

Typical of members of Cult of Sanders you are making up your own terms.

Your OP was talking about civility towards others. This extends to all aspects of PC rhetoric and behavior.

Sanders doesn't get it either. Completely understandable that you don't understand.

LOL

You so don't get it. Assuming your story is factual (I doubt it). Lacking detail too.. Holding a door open for somebody coming out behind you so it doesn't slam back into that person's nose is a civil act. Jumping in front of somebody to open the door is not. In that case, especially for somebody on crutches or in a wheelchair, just ask if they would like some help.

Instead your story ends with YOUR hurt feelings. Its always about you, isn't it?

Actually it ties back to being critical of a good deed and how the recipient was unkind.

I feel sorry for those like her and those like you, because YOU are that lady..

Of course you don't get it.

You jumped in front of somebody on crutches in a clumsy but well meaning effort to help. Have you spent much time on crutches? The person you say "bitched at you" shouldn't have "bitched at you". Nobody is perfect. On the other hand, even the prospect of falling down would get the fear/flight/fight hormones racing so it is understandable. What did she do when she realized what she was doing? Apologized.

I don't expect you to understand. It's all about you, isn't it?

She didn’t apologize..it made for a better story..she was a cunt.

Do you think that Parkland mother who demanded Stars apologized?

Losing your civility a bit early, I see.

Here's a suggestion, though I know you can't understand it. When you are going to help somebody who is struggling with a door or whatever, ask.

It's OK to hold the door for somebody who is coming out behind you so it doesn't slam them in the face. That's not the same thing as interfering with somebody's actions assumption you are helping.

Changing your story in a bid for my sympathy. I already said I doubted your story. Self centered people always alter the story to suit themselves. Now then. Let's repeat the lesson of the day.

Holding a door for somebody who is coming out right behind you is always a civil act. You don't want the door to slam into them as they are walking out. Holding the door at that moment in no way interferes with the person behind you and so it's an easy and smooth act of civility.

Jumping in front of somebody on crutches who is struggling with a door was well meaning but she explained to you why it upset her. It turned out that your attempt at a good deed screwed your day and probably hers. Instead of feeling anger and being hurt, a rational person would take the whole thing as a lesson. Your hurt feelings are on you. You called her a cunt? She's the one dealing with MS and moving about on crutches. Who is the C-word now?

She "couldn't help but notice..."

Yeah, ok.
