The 'Post your CFL yields' official thread.

So, here we are at the CFL forum. There are lots of threads with your CFL grows...but not one single place to show the non-believers what us CFL growers can really do. So here, all in one place, you can post a finished photograph of your crop, how many watts, what type of bulbs, how long from seed to harvest, and your harvested yield (fresh and dry/cured).

I think this will be useful not only for the doubters of CFL, but the CFL growers on their first grow that keep getting told by everyone their crop is going to produce crap.

well, I'm hoping this thread can be people posting their yields, with information, photos and stuff. I don't want any claims, just hard facts. So we can all prove to everyone, and reassure ourselves, that CFL is a legit way of growing our favorite plant, from start to finish.

I am curious to see this because I am growing for the first time with CFLs and people keep saying how my yield will be crap...I'm willing to believe it when I see it.

3 bagseed, went hermie on me toward the end so I had to harvest a little bit early so I didn't get too many seeds. A little over 500w CFL grown in my closet. 5.4 zips dry before cure....would of been more if they didn't hermie on me. Either way, it was my first grow so it was amazing of coarse :) 100_5561.jpgView attachment 2087065100_5558.jpgView attachment 2087069100_5551.jpgView attachment 2087070View attachment 2087072View attachment 2087073100_5517.jpg100_5514.jpgView attachment 2087082View attachment 2087078View attachment 2087077View attachment 2087079View attachment 2087081

I had 2 plants harvested already. Was growing them under x1 65w 4100k, x2 105w 5500k these are actual watts not "replaces _____" got 28.6g off first plant wet. And 23.5g of second plant wet. I am suprised because that was my first actual completed grow and i forgot to water them sometimes lol. I also accidentally let a male grow far beyond what he was suppose to ... and the lights were too far apart from the plants. I transplanted one twice and the other a little late. Also I didnt use any additional nutes just what was in the Miracle Grow soil (Horrible soil dont ever use) Now that i learned a few things from my mistake I am retrying already. I have some nice blended soil from a nursery i got with perlite in it. I am getting the right cfls to for veg and bloom. (6500k/5000k for veg) and (2700k/3000k for bloom) I picked this up from a forum on here and it suppose to work the same way as sun. So i should hopefully get more yield this time.

Hey RollMeOne420 :) You are correct about the lights this time....YAY! Good luck with your second grow, you'll get ALOT LOT more I'm sure....lol! I truly believe it's all about the quality of your dirt....well....most of it anyways. And you gotta keep them CFL's close so the light can penetrate the leaves :)

Keep your CFL's close......but your CFL's closer!
