Don't discount that solution, beardo. Physical labor would only make us healthier, taking the strain off the system a bit. Not to mention, employing more people will mean less people without health insurance. I would fully support that idea

And yeah, you are right. The current version of healthcare sucks ass and we need to do better. I'm not for scrapping it entirely, but let's do what Taiwan or Switzerland did and be smart about this. Nothing good can come of ou current system...

I'm an American, not by choice either. All I have seen is abuse of this system. I have watched people go in and out of jail throughout my life because of unconstitutional laws. This government and those before are corrupt to the core and rotten. To even support these Ivy League pricks to me is just stupid. Do you want a president that is family friends with little tim geithner. By the way the majority of smokers make less than 50k a year. So a tax increase on Tobacco is a tax increase on people who make less than 50K a year. Ya, pretty shitty. I had one of these Washington assholes at my house one time he wasn’t a big guy just very active. You could say a lobbyist. I told him that we should let the common man get more involved. You know what he did. He laughed and said o that’s good. He began to tell me that the common man doesn’t have the education to make educated decisions for this country. The country requires the elite in order to lead and make decisions for everyone else. The current health care is constitutional. But I guess that doesn’t matter anymore.

Medicaid – Unconstitutional
Social Security – Unconstitutional
Medicare – Unconstitutional

I am starting to believe my fellow Americans don't realize that the constitution is against alot of the things they want to do. America is brutal country founded by colonialists. It isn’t some soft place where the government takes care of people. If that is what you believe then you are in the wrong country. You should all read the constitution several times.

State laws make that a crime, but the federal government shouldn’t have anything to do with it unless it goes across state lines. By the way, the state defines what age a individual is a child.. So for example if one state says 16 another 17 etc.

See by federal .gov mandating states to provide healthcare services that the states can’t afford. The federal government has setup a method of extorting the states. The vote on healthcare is a perfect example. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana sold her vote because they promised her a bigger cut of medicaid amongst other things.

You are quite free to travel and live in another country. I have done it before. It's an eye opener once you get past the tourism aspect.

Trash? I have lived in Europe, South America, and Central Africa sir. What I say is truth. Your bigotry precedes you. America is brutal when it comes to economics. Not far from some 3rd world countries social philosophies. Leave? Is that what we tell fellow Americans today? I am free to state what I witness. Maybe you should visit Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, and Sweden. Every country has its faults. The question is can you accept your own countries faults. If you consider what I say trash talking America. WoW talk about a deep insecurity. The only thing wrong with America is the deviants who have supplanted the U.S Constitution. Moooing for more security at the cost of liberty. You know why I love America? Not because of the educated assholes, or the mcdonalds, walmarts etc. In America we have a class of men who do what is right. Blue collar workers however you want to see them. The “Ignorant common man” known by those with higher education. What you say is not very open minded nor is it very debatable. It could be seen just as a simple attack. One thing I have learned from my travels. Even a Serbian thinks his country is the best in the world. You are telling me what a Serbian nationalist says. Just instead of Serbia, you substitute it with America.

Actually, if AIG also went under, and Fannie Mae/Mac went under completely, it would have been a global depression. Let us also not forget that Bush got us in the mess in the firstplace, under policies set forth by the regan administration. America just got greedy.
