my question is what should my run off be when watering without nutes and with nutes..... thank you

Run off means nothing.

At least 10% when using nutes. I like to have lots of runoff when not using nutes.

If runoff means nothing, how do you measure your OUT pH? Water pH means nothing going in if you don't know how acidic your soil is.

You want to have 10% of what you add as runoff. So, if you don't get an adequate amount of runoff, add more water. You need to make sure that there are no dry pockets in the soil and you can't do that without properly saturating it. That's another reason why runoff is important.

The amount you liquid you apply.

sorry i ment to say when i water my plants with just water (no nute) what should the PH of my run off be? im asking this beacuase im haveing a problem with one of my plants and i need to test the run off to see if i have to flush or not

I would say 6.2-6.8ish

I flushed plant and run off was 6.2, does this mean anything? Good? Bad?
