Ive recently come to discover this plant for myself. and i like it when they are big and all chillaxin in their huge ball home....anywaysi was at a neighbors and his neighbor came over and we got to talkin and smokin and I noticed a stag horn in yard and offered to raise it back up on its chains with him, (it had fallen) for a small piece. 1 fern to start with. he reluctantly parted with theiece like a mother seeing her son off to war.
i immediately took the piece of stag horn and paraded it thru a super lowes homedepot walmart target nursery here nor there...and bought a 14 inch wire basket and a bag of funny named moss.
so i go home and show neighbor (because she has one 25 yrs old) and she gave me an awesome baby piece....SCORE....so i got 2 pieces in a matter of an hour...very happy now. pieces are hung on oak tree near trunk inside wire basket getting misted every 2 days...
