I love my new SuperCloset....and I have pics to show you why. This thing performs!!!
I had never grown hydroponically before and had no idea what I was doing beyond vegging, flowering, 18/6 & 12/12. I have always been curious but a full blown set up was way too intimidating and risky for me. This is what caused me to seek out an all-in-one unit. The unit truly did come with everything that I needed. I got lucky and bought mine for $2,595.00 on sale, although it seems to me like it is always on sale....hmmm..
In any case, when I got my closet, I loaded the instructional DVD that came with the unit....part of it was helpful and the other part confused the heck out of me. It looked like a different system. I called them because I was thoroughly confused. They informed me that they had recently upgraded to a new Superponics System and that the DVD that I had was outdated. They did send me another, but it took a while to arrive.....although this didn't matter because the guy I spoke with on the phone walked me through the entire process via telephone. He explained everything that I needed to know.
I thought that I was headed for disaster in the beginning....my clones that I got had spider mites AND root aphids!!!!! Luckily, I was able to utilize a take down spray and neem oil. I did a full soak and got rid of those pesky critters.
Now I have these beautifully healthy plants.
THE ONLY MAINTENANCE I HAVE IS CHANGING MY WATER ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS AND WIPING DOWN THOSE AIR DIFFUSERS.....I JUST LEFT FOR SIX DAYS AND MY PLANTS ARE KILLING IT, THREE WEEKS INTO FLOWER!!!!! THAT IS WHAT PROMPTED ME TO SHARE. CHECK OUT THESE PICS!!IMG_1153.jpgIMG_1143.jpgIMG_1127.jpgIMG_1157.jpgIMG_1129.jpgIMG_1048.jpgIMG_1141.jpgIMG_1039.jpgIMG_1097.jpgIMG_1155.jpgIMG_1032.jpgIMG_1086.jpgIMG_1164.jpgIMG_1050.jpgIMG_1131.jpgIMG_1161.jpgIMG_1134.jpgIMG_1163.jpgIMG_1033.jpgIMG_1152.jpgIMG_1160.jpgIMG_1090.jpgIMG_1150.jpgIMG_1036.jpgIMG_1088.jpgIMG_1159.jpgIMG_1162.jpgIMG_1138.jpg

Very nice.
I saw one of these in a journal a couple years ago and that inspired me to build one... Then a second, larger one. Then a green house.

Lookin good man, You ought to pull 6 to 8 oz's out of that.

thanks....i am hoping to pull at least 8....we will see i guess....less than three weeks into flower.....one of my varieties is going crazy and choking out the others...hopefully its yield will make up for the shade it is casting.

So I am assuming that you havent looked at too many set ups if you think $2600 is a good deal for a little metal cabinet with about $500 worth of equipment in it.

you are clearly not factoring in everything that comes with it....i literally had to buy nothing after purchasing it...it came with ballast, light, electric strips, fuse protectors, timers, guages, ph kit, tds, rock wool, stones, pumps..everything......why do people always have to hate???..you obviously don't know what you are talking about...

Add it all up dude and I bet it wont come to $1200. You spent $2600 on a 2x4 grow set up and I dont know what I am talking about. For $2600 I could build a 10x10 room with top of the line equipment. Sorry bro you got robbed.

To each his own.
If you like to tinker and build things then yea, It could have been done for less. I suppose the convince is worth it.
Either way, Its awesome to have. Enjoy man.

i did a lot of research and i did price it out....you are all talk.....the time and labor of setting up your own shit is a factor too....buying drill bits and shit to make these holes and line these hose and tubes would be costly and time consuming....go somewhere else hater.

At least they didnt get ya for the whole $3k.
Agreed. Seriously I think I'm spending 3500 on my fruiting room (SOG style op) and it's going to be a lot more biologically productive than that setup (granted it is about a grand more). Then again I am going a bit overboard on somethings (i.e using only the best digital ballasts, using Magnum XXXL hoods, using the best 1000w bulbs, and getting a CO2 burner, Dehydrator, and Sulfur burner). If I really wanted to be cheap about it I could spend only $2500 and have a really rad setup still. To give you an idea of how far my $3500 estimate is going (of which 50% is bought), it includes expanded clay pellets, 4 water pumps, 4 air pumps+airstones, 4 res, 4 flood tables, 85 pots, various timers and sensors too, 2 1000w lights with lumatek ballasts and magnum XXXL hoods, 2 1000w Hortilux HPS bulbs, and 2 vortex fans, Plus all that other crap I wrote above. If you build things yourself and buy things from various sellers you can get some really good deals online, especially if you build up buyer and seller relationship with people.

If need be you can always make a decent cabinet setup for $700 bucks and a really good one for $1000. Thats what pisses me off when these sellers do huge markups (it costs them way less than 700 bucks to make your cabinet since they buy in bulk).

P.S. sorry if I'm sounding like a hater. Thats not my intention. I really just hate how these prefabricated grow ops ripoff the community. I also hate how anything weed related instantly has a 200%-500% mark up over it's non-weed related counter part. My best example is a flood tray for plants costs $70 bucks, but if you buy this same tray at home depot (it's called a concrete mixing tray or a plastic utility tub) they only charge you $11.95 and it's larger too!

I have never had to drill any holes in my tent bro. If you priced everything out and still spent $2600 on a little grow box then you are even dumber than I thought. Where is the $2600 if you priced it all out? I am not hating on you bro!! If you are happy paying $2600 for a 6 square foot box with a light a filter and a hydro setup and I know all that other stuf that totals about $200 then good for you. If I was gonna spend $2600 on a setup it would be a 2x3 office cabinet with a 400 watt light. Matter of fact I would spend about $600 on a tent ready to grow and spend about $200 on beans and pocket the other $1800. I stand firm in my statement that Super Closet got you good man. On Sale for $2600 LMAO!!!!

...well you are all entitled to your opinion, but my system is clearly going to pay for itself soon enough and i had to take ZERO trips to Home Depot or any other Hydro shop.

you must be dealing with soil....this is a hydro set up.....i would have had to drill big holes in the cabinet....duct and install light fans, carbon sock and all of that crap..install the hoses and diffusers in the hydro basin......you probably have never even seen one of their units....you truly do not know what you are talking about....enjoy your mecky buds.....i'll enjoy my easy, hairy, hydro dank.

Its not an opinion it is fact and it is gonna take you quite a few grows in a 6 SF box to make $2600 back bro.

Not to mention he should start fruiting soon. Plants grow 1.5-3 times their size in fruiting. He has limited hight to deal with and a lot of plants in a small area. I'd keep that door open during light hours so things don't mold up on him.

2600? WOw good luck paying for that on your first grow . People gimmick setups like this .It would have been 75% less to buy all that individually from a hydro store and they give you support . I hate to see stuff like this too it is gross waste . Sorry bro i really thought this was like a thread somebody made up for a funny then I realized its for real . Well atleast you have everything you need . Good luck on yopur grow hope it turns out well for you .

i didn't say it would be on the first grow, but this is easy and fun...why all the judgment?? i don't get it.....it will save me money in the long run and i guarantee that i have to put in a lot less time than any of you with maintenance....i live in a one bedroom apartment....i can't exactly tent up.......this is discreet, takes no electricity, and produces good buds....why dismiss that?! you guys are typical grower egomaniacs.....everyone always wants to pull their hydro dick out and put it on the table...especially shop owners...i like my purchase and it is working out well for me....what kind of douche tries to make me feel bad about that after the fact?!
