The Three - Amazing Shits....

Ohsogreen you are the man. This thread has inspired me to go organic. I never really looked into it that much, but it seems like its not all that hard. I am going to do some test grows with tomatoes first before I go all the way on some sweet herb.

I just mixed up a batch of soil today and I would like your thoughts on it. I started with two bags of promix organic blend ( 70% peat moss, sea based compost, limestone, perlite, and something they call Mycorise [some bacteria they trademarked i guess] )

15 gallons promix
about 7 lbs worm castings.. maybe a gallon, I just poured half of a 15 lb bag
15 tbsp bat guano high N
15 tbsp rock phosphate
30 tbsp kelp meal
15 cups more peat moss
15 tbsp dolomite lime (peletized)

I mixed it thoroughly, and then added about 2 gallons of lake water with an ounce of molasses, then mixed some more. I plan on letting it site for 1-2 weeks before planting, and I will mix it up a little bit every other day.
