Yo OhSo.. What do you think about zoodoo? Its available at the local zoo. Woodland Park Zoo. It is made from herbivore doo, wood chips, and leaves. Wondering if this exotic poo has any special qualities. They suggest sending it as a holiday gift and call if HoliDoo. I'd love to get some. And maybe even give some. Thanks.

LittleGirls..... Zoodoo is an excellent base for a serious compost pile or barrel. I occassionally pick some up at the Zoo near my house. I buy the Elephant Doo.... and throw it into my compost barrel along with other goodies. I like the fact, these animals are very healthy (regular check ups) and are fed a strict (organic) diet. The end result - good shit....
.
It's not quite as magical as Bat Guano or Worm Castings... but I do like the fact, that when I buy it - I know it's source & I'm helping to support the Zoo for future generations.

Ohso has a masters degree in poop-ology. It is good to know one's shit. For from it comes the sweetest tasting buds. Now, isn't that ironic.

Thanks for the great information Ohsogreen....I decided to start simple and organic first and your information has been a valuable starting point.... im making my first batch of tea...i need a veg tea and a bloom tea both since i have 2 rooms...The question i have for you is....Do you have any information about using deer crap? It is the most readily avalible shit i can find...I also have high N and High P bat guano, worm castings, and molasses

2 tbsp a gallon of guano to get the NPK on the bag. Also make sure you add that 1 tbsp molasses a gallon. Make sure you give it at least 24 hours to bubble. Also worm castings are awesome, the fresher the better. I bought a worm farm and the fresh castings do miracles. I would through in a few cups of the composted deer you got for a 5 gallon bucket and also a few cups of compost will add a big kick. It sounds strong but I have yet to burn any plants. Check my journal if you like, in sig.

Bump, the deer crap question has me interested. Ohsogreen, thanks for the dedication to this forum, I don't know if I would have decided to go organic without all of your helpful tips!

This is my first time using bmo. And only organic everything else.
I have been growing gdp for 4 years. Usually with the whole foxfarm line.
This harvest i am getting ready to pull. Looks and smells like a totally dif strain.
You can smell the cleanness in the bud enven still on the plant.
I will be cutting them down. Next weak.and posting update on my jounal.
I always wanted to be organic. Thought i was with foxfarm.
This site showed me the right way.
I bought both types bat guanu and worm casting to add to the next round.
Truelly organic is the only way.

so you really noticed a difference going full organic from the mostly organic foxfarm line assuming you mean t.bloom etc... i would like to hear about that and the differences you noticed since you said youv'e done gdp for 4 years. i assume everything else was equal correct?

yes before i did you the tiger bloom, big bud, all six of their line.
i have not cut them down yet. but i think the harvest will be a little amaller.
its hard to rell though.
usually the gdp have pointed and kinda skinnyer nugs, but longer.
with the bmo the are a bit shorter but are shaped like golf balls big round tips.
and they honesrly smeel like a totally dii strain.
and i just used the bmo line, plus purple max, mollasass.
i am sure that with adding the 2 guanus and worm castings the harvest will increase.
i did not had to adjust ph even once.
and the only flush i did was 2 weaks before harvest.
very forgiving and user freindly.
