I am mixed in agreement with you on this. But I am of open mind and respectful to your knowledge.
So my knowledge of the viability of viability of the pollen is this....
This happened on both what I consider pure cookie, and bodhi strange love(forum cut).
Around week 4 it gets balls on the lower stalk branch junction, and on some lower buds near there. These are the only viable pollen source. And they don't make many seeds. Also not a strain that has hairs for very long, and at week 4ish there aren't many pistals.
Also seeds don't mature easily, and germinate well. Not bad, but usually not 100%.
What I see is a lot of breeders trying to make s1,r1, and hybrids. So I think you might be seeing this as it is viable pollen, but unless you try to breed her, then you will understand.
All the cookies and crosses seem to be sold out almost as soon as they drop, especially if they are real deal.
Might be because they just don't have many packs on their drops?
But I tried soooo hard to get some good cookie, samosas, scooby snacks, Polynesian cookies......practically impossible!
The later bananas that show up have no viability.
Luckily it cloned well and is pretty hardy.
I guess if I ran a whole room of cookies and didn't pick any balls off, I would have a few dozen packs of seeds.

I see what your saying that it doesn't grow any viable pollen anywhere except the lowers which is true which is why most lollipop. I was looking at it like Cherry Pie it's pollen is sterile so it isn't viable to use to breed.

Could be but I doubt it. It's something a few groups of people are trying to accomplish its needed IMHO as it will allow people to really know what genetics are in the strains that really help people. It will benefit everyone as people shouldn't have to wonder about the medicine their smoking or ingesting. Plus it will stop stuff like this with GSC and all the stories and hype behind it. I haven't seen any of the others who are doing this report any info on how far they are and how many strains they have in their database. The article I posted said they have collected over 1500 so hey making progress. Hopefully people will start seeing and hearing some stuff on what a strains true genetics are

Just like ghost said an s1 of Thin Mints hence the name Forum cut. Somebody popped a/some seeds from the buds and passed it around on the Forums as it was the only GSC cut known until Platinum, Animal and OGKB came about. Animal is a cross tho so not actually a pheno or s1 but I believe it came from a fem cross tho. GSC is hard to stay on cus of so many cuts and s1 that are out there plus crosses that put out very cookie dom phenos it's hard to keep up lol. I just want a Forum and OGKB to work with. Make my own Buzz City Cookies lol
