Hello peeps how is everyone doing. Well I moved and re set up from my last grow at tag on bottom. Its been a long voyage a lot kinks have been worked out and some are workings in the mix. I was gonna be stash and not do a real journal but I figured I would share some of my knowledge on my set up and get some help rightfully were it needed during the break in off the set up.

I have four phases from soil mothers in small room that is cfl and flo, to aero cloner 25 site, to veg Ebb and Gro CAP system under 600 x2 flooding 4 times a day 30 min. PH 5.5 to 6.1 float. PPM is what it is I just let it do its thing and if dramatic changes I add some nutes on a top off. Change res every 2 to 3 weeks. Tap water is VERY high PPM like 520 + PH 7.2. I know I need RO but this will work for now till I get more moneys. I pretty much do same on flower just feed more on topping of 55 gal res. Flower is 1,000 x4 vented by a 500 + cfm inline and my veg room 500 + cfm is inline with my flower. I run the same Ebb and Gro, each room running 24 buckets. Temps hit 90 on thermo but that probably isn't right from it being stand still and the leafs are fan blown. But its hot and humid. Oh yeah duh, I don't have my exhaust hooked up yet so it blows the two 600s heat back into garage . Once I get the heat out the room completely I bet that will help.

I have both 120 and 240 running, veg is all 120 and flower is lights 240 and the rest 120. I use TechnaFlora nutes and run a Milwaukee sm802 meter. All I use for veg is BC BOOST/BLOOM if I think I should add for major reason Ill add micro nutes. For flower it's BC BOOST/BLOOM and micro as fit. I will be running different strains so it will be interesting to see how I can catter to all these bitches needs off one nute flavor ? Ill get by Im sure. I HOPE.

Aero cloner is a new 25 site Botanicare. My cloning sucked I have always had low ratios and this thing is awesome awesome. I get roots really quick depending on strain. I only need 12 at a time cuz I am shooting for a crop of 12 a month. So 12 plants chopped every once a month. Im running NYCD right now and will do 19 on first flower moving newly taken clones into veg in a couple weeks. I have Old giant NYCD and a small Strawberry cough in mothers den with Starwberry Cough clones going for next run mixed with some NYCD. I have newly planted clones in soil for NYCD and Chem Dawg. I have a questionable sitting duck and either bubble gum or Acata Trainwreck in cloner as well.

Heres a vid of whats going on thus far I'll use my nice recorder next time and not my BB. Enjoy looking forward to your feedback. Well thats it pretty much it hope to post back when they go into flower planned for this weekend. Knowledge Is Power...... :hump:

Well I got my anticipated packages today !!! Buuut they sent me the wrong hoods !! They gave me80f3d91a94eca231c03ddcebb51849d9.jpg and I wanted View attachment 1072727 Between this and the pump going out Im behind on putting these ladies in flower. NYCD seems to to grow very fast with small leaves. There at close to three feet in a very short time. So Im kind of hoping I dont run into height issues. I have the funny feeling the 4,000 ill have in flowering them is gonna put them at like 5 foot possibly more. I still have to deal with my pump but I called C.A.P today and they sent me a new unit so my hoods going back will by pass my pump I been waiting on before I flower. Grrrr

I just got my 240 elec hooked up and that was the big pain in the ass. Cuz I am doing 240 but outlet has a 120 plug if no one noticed. Lots of math and brain storming to hook that piece up. But my ballast only run like 3.5 amps on 240 as opposd to the 10 amps on 120. So it's a better deal I think and worth it. Oh yeah got some more boost but thats not exciting lol

Anyhow good to have it one step closer to flower but sad cuz of three steps back on snags.

HTG has some good customer service, i have that same hood with a digital ballast and my temps are 78 with just one fan pushing air out and one directed att he light. So thats pretty good with out proper inline fans.

Don't stress it bro. It's good to get all the speed bumps out of the way before the real show starts. I looked up your past grow and am sure you will get around it. BTW, +rep forgot to throw it your way yesterday.

Whats up everyone ! Awesome having all of u aboard hope to keep ya enthralled lol

Hey coop I had that easy cool 6. ..It's really small. Used it for a cabinet grow.. not good coverage bro..
I have three other easy cools and enjoy them very much. There decent size I feel and coverage is cool. I'll be doing a 4,000 watt grow so over lap over lumens will be nice I think.

But anyhow yes I will be sending them back. HTG has GREAT customer service and I've used them for a few years now. I believe the open hoods are free'ish with the set up I order. I will have to pay the difference which will be a bill plus. I plan to ask if they will comp my shipping, we will see. I will be a lil butt hurt if not.

Got all my buckets set up today. Had a loooooong cleaning session. Put my hi low hangers up to. I figured since I have at least a week till I'll be ready to go if I get love from HTG and get some hoods sent Monday and here by like wed., but anyhow I did a nice flush of my veg res and put a new 55 gals in with nutes.

I added my exhaust complete now minus lights and connectors. I just pulled to carbon monoxide exhaust from my hot water and heater off and made a sealed box with three holes and connected hot water and heater y, my room exhaust and the roof vent to the box. Bam no need for carbon filter. I next want to add the hot water and heater co2 to my flower room and use a timer to vent it at figured times or get a ppm meter that hooks to vent fan. Bam FREE co2.

I added donkey to my room and he will tend thing's when need be. Donkeys are hard workers and funny comedians :hump: Heres a few blah pics but hey were in a waiting period. My new 1,000s, Flower room 24 bucket set up mirror image of veg set up, my box exhaust set up, and loyal Donkey.

Peace out.........

Ok I did some DUH edits and blah blah lol. Sooo I hooked my carbon monoxide detector up next to my box and water heater. These units put out CO2 and CO so if I do have a back up of gases I will know once the CO hits 50 PPM or higher. So though I am not sure of my CO2 PPM I do know CO isn't present from the meter. Only time will tell please feel free to comment.

BURNING HYDROCARBON FUELS:
This has been the most common method of CO2 enrichment for many years. A number of commercial growers and greenhouses use it in their larger structures. The most common fuels are propane, butane, alcohol and natural gas. Any of these fuels that burn with a blue, white or colorless flame will produce carbon dioxide, which is beneficial. If a red, orange or yellow flame is present, carbon monoxide is being generated due to incomplete combustion. Carbon monoxide is deadly to both plants and people in any but the smallest quantities. Fuels containing sulfur or sulfur compounds should not be used, as they produce by-products which are harmful.
Most commercial CO2 generators that burn these fuels are too large for small greenhouse or indoor grow room applications. Some small ones are avai fable or a Coleman lantern, bunsen burner or small gas stove can be used. All of these CO2 generators produce heat as a by-product of CO2 generation, which is rarely needed in a controlled environment grow room but may prove beneficial in winter growing and cool area greenhouses.
The rate of CO2 production is controlled by the rate at which fuel is being burned. In a gas burning CO2 generator using propane, butane or natural gas, one pound of fuel produces approximately 3 pounds of carbon dioxide gas and about 1.5 pounds of water vapor. Approximately 22,000 BTUs of heat is also added. These figures can vary if other fuels are used.
To relate this to our standard example in an 8' X 8' X 8' growing area, if you used ethyl or methyl alcohol in a gas lamp or burner at the rate of 1.3 oz. per day, we would enhance the atmospheric concentration of CO2 to 1300 PPM if the room was completely sealed.
An enrichment standard of 1300 PPM was chosen as it is assumed that 1500 PPM is ideal, and that the plants will deplete the available CO2 supply by 100 PPM per hour. Remember, the normal atmosphere contains 300 PPM of CO2. A 100% air exchange (leakage) every two hours is assumed to be the average air exchange rate in most grow rooms and tight greenhouses. If many cracks and leaks are present, this exchange rate will increase significantly, but added CO2 (above 300 PPM) will also be lost. If a vent fan is in use, disregard CO2 enrichment, as it will be blown out as fast as it is generated.
