Since whoever started the Butane extraction in the States was copying French perfume industry process, it has been on for a lot longer than you would think. Butane and C02 extraction process are used to extract the most volatile terpenes for the perfume industry.
Funny that you use the same technology to make medicine that has most of the time no taste and smell.

Pound for Pound, sugar trims will not show much of a difference in THC and cannabinoids between BHO and ice extraction. Is the difference worse the financial investment, processing risks, health hazard.
You should smoke some good hashish my friend and think about it.

I am working on a power point presentation and a video as well that would cover it all in one lecture/workshop/video but I have a lot to do so be patient with me. Sub and T Curtiss are the force behind this new direction in my life so you are in safe hands.
There may be much for me to teach but most of what I do is pure "instinct" and before teaching it, I would have to go on the scientific side and get the numbers for you guys. If I go on such a journey, I may as well go all the way and make it a real tribute to the hundreds of thousands of years of evolution and traditions that is the Hashish Culture and to all the Hashishins who were my teachers.

Now that right there is why your Hash is so damn good THE PASSION you can hear it in your words. Ill be waiting when your ready. And welcome to RIU your knowledge is priceless

Edit: I don't know for sure where Frenchy was born, but France is probably a good guess. He sounds more Parisian than French Canadian to me.
