i use the oven/double boiler method with grain alcohol, it works great....and it is done in an hour or so.

i use two oz. cured, crumbled, de-stemmed/seeded herb (joint consistency)......spread thin on cookie sheet, bake in oven @ 300 for exactly 7 minutes....place product in a quart jar with 12 oz. grain alcohol. place jar in sauce pan with water (double boiler style)...slowly bring to slow boil...it will boil at 155 degrees.....gentle boil and stir every five minutes for 30 minutes, remove from heat, and let cool.....strain through cheese cloth, and squeeze.....with evaporation and the herb soaking up some alcohol, you will end up with 8 liquid oz.....it will be very strong....i take 15 drops to medicate. peace...nugs

p.s. please be careful, flames and flammables etc!

Hey Weed nerds just a quick question ive ordered subs gear from attitude and then i cam across Sea of Seeds and they have subs gear in stock also, i was just wondering has anyone ordered from them before and if they are an approved TGA vendor? they look ligit enough just wanna be sure for next time.

Hey Nugs, I saw you post this a few pages back awhile ago. I tried looking for it again yesterday and couldnt find the post! Looked for a lil bit and then just gave up, so thanks bro. Ill let ya know how it comes out when its finished. thanks again........

cool! use four/five layers of cheesecloth to strain out....latex gloves too.....also there will be a sediment at the bottom of whatever you put it in....it will get stronger the longer it sits....but is pretty strong right away.....i made my last batch a bit too strong.....not really, but a little bottle lasts a long time.......skake well before taking a dose.....love to hear an update...
also at about minute 5 in the oven, it will start to vaporize, it can be quite strong in an unventilated kitchen, so if you don't want your pets or other loved ones to get medicated......crack a window! i just took fifteen drops an hour and a half ago, and i feel nice.....real mellow.....once i didn't have a dropper when i first started making it, so i estimated with a teaspoon, big mistake....panic mode...waaaaaayyyy over the top......for like 8 hours....like trying to remember to keep breathing type of oh shit!.......good luck....nugs

They burn clean sir & turn to ash once they are done

Sk#1 adds bud structure and 8wks flowering. NL adds strong stems and Early Pearl adds resistance to mould in humid conditions. A11 is about 98% JH, C99 is about 95% JH, A13 and P88 is about 92% JH. Very similar to a good Hz high but without that heart racing/ no anxiety at all high. Early Queen has an archetypal sativa stretch. Now and then u get a full on Hz effect, sk1 bud structure, earliness and that oaxacan like resin and weight from nl5, all that and hybrid vigour 2. EQ is a good example of how to build a hybrid, stacking as many good traits into one plant as u can. EPSK X NL5HZ X NL5(122) X EQ

they might turn to ash when they are done burning but depending on what kind it is, it could have stuff like starch to bind the coal cake together. the quick light coals have a coating of some chemical on them to light faster. and when u burn coal also know that it releases sulfur dioxide and other things like nitrogen dioxide. granted people have been using them on hookah for hundreds of years, but it is also on top of the hookah bowl and gases off into the atmosphere whereas this any gas emission from the coal itself is all trapped under the glass

While the hookah coal looks like a good idea, there is no such thing as completely clean burning charcoal, so that idea is out for me. However I wonder if a heated up stone would also work. That aside the whole process just seems like a lot of work.

50 is supposed to come this week maybe w some special appearances, sub said maybe today(wednesday) but nothin was confirmed and this was a rough estimate, good things come to those who wait

a stone would need to be heated to its center, and it would cool down too quickly, the reason a hookah coal is used is that it is giving off constant heat, check out the vido TC posted

I'm really surprised we're not using laser ignite-rs at this point. My preferred method is freezer kif vaped with hot air through stemless glass. But I digress...just picked up a stack of Skunk magazines from a few years back and really like it and it seems like our old buddy Subcool has a piece in every other issue! I always like reading a Subby piece. Too many pretenders in this game talking out their arses, so it's nice to see Sub's articles getting respect. All I can say, is that if I read the mags and the internet and tried water culture the way they say to do it, I'd fail miserably. It would never work.
