Just mixed up a batch of super soil. And with my messed up back, it only took 5 hours. Of course i had to take a few brakes here and there. I started at 2 and finished at 7!

you guys do too much IMO for germination. i never soak my seeds overnight, and i never have germination issues. 100% germination rate on TGA gear so far. even when i used to put the beans in a MOIST (not SOAKING) paper towel, never a prob with the germ rates. now i use rapid rooters and they work perfectly for me. maybe you guys should quit your old method and try something new. or do a side by side and see if you notice a difference!!! Sub is hella cool for even offering to replace the beans. idk many breeders who would do the same.

I totally agree and like I said, I wasn't dogging on Sub. I've learned more, from watching him, than I have from everyone else combined. I haven't crossed off any of his strains from my wishlist, trust me. I usually soak my seeds til they crack and then put them directly into the medium. So far this method has worked for me but I'm certainly not opposed to testing a different method. It truly could have been something that I did.....or somebody could have switched them out at the seedbank, for all I know. Anyway, thank you Sub, for offering to correct the issue. :)

Weed is not addictive...but the weed nerd surely is. It's been a week since the last vid...Sub, you having a well deserved break? Keen to see how the qt and cq seedlings are going. (would be great to see them in flower and you and dave smoking them at the end - link all the videos together and its a complete how to.)

I've posted this question before, so here I go again. I too had a germ problem about 2 years ago. 0% out of 2 10 packs ordered from attidude seedbank (whichs ships to USA by mail). Am I correct in saying all postage is x-rayed arriving from foriegn places before it reaches us here in the USA since 911. And x-rays are producing radiation which can sterilize seeds. So could this be the problem?

it is a possibility......0% is crazy...even with really old seeds....did you use a heat mat?....what was your method?

and not dissing sub's product, which is great. as a matter of fact loved space jill, and sub since you said you were discontinuing this in favor of spacedawg, if you have any space jill left over, you know where to send them.

wet paper towell.
big difference between moist or damp and wet. maybe you drowned them out. what were your max-min temps, did you use chlorinated water? were your hands clean before handling the seeds? just wondering because many factors could tie into germination failure.

If all mail coming into the US from overseas was x-rayed, and the x-ray caused problems with seeds, then wouldn't every person in the US that ordered seeds from overseas be complaining?

they are actually discontinuing space jill for Space Bomb, both of which are space queen F2s, only difference being mother plant (Tiny Bomb on Space bomb).
