Anyone have any experience with these units? For me, stealth is an absolute must. I know a lot of you purists out there despise the grow boxes as being too much money. I'm way too lazy and money is not an issue. I just need to grow enough for my families needs--about 2 0z a month.Please--anyone who has a Yielder--let me know how your grows have worked out as far as dry yield, power use, etc. Thanks for any advice.:eyesmoke:

I have two soil grow systems from the same company...you can check out my grow here. I typically pull a pound per harvest, but my last one was 13oz. I don't think you'll have any problem hitting your numbers...the more the merrier right? I needed a stealth grow box too, as I've got little ones running around, family coming over, and somewhat nosey neighbors. I've been growing in them for a while now and NO ONE knows. I've had people in my garage, standing right next to them and they don't even notice them :bigjoint: There's a little white noise, but when they're closed up you can barely hear it. I use about $120 a month more power than I used to, but that's for two, so maybe $60 a month for one?

The company is legit for sure. They customized one of the grow boxes for me which I thought was REALLY cool. It comes pretty much assembled, you just have to hang a couple things on the back. It doesn't take any time. It arrives discreetly packaged and is on wheels so moving it around is easy once it's off the pallet.

Hope that helps, good luck!

thank you guys for sharing this is exactly the type of product i need! For the same reasons, kids, nosy neighbors, etc:weed:

Could probly build an equal set-up for so much cheaper...
Yes you can...if you have the tools for the job. I didn't, and I wanted something I could get rolling with right away so I went the prefab route. "To each his own, or her own" No complaints here

which would take a nice amount of time and effort hunting down supplies, making sure its light tight. ventilation, screens for bugs...proper airflow... and it with the light it would still come up to 1800 to 2000.... or you can spend alil more and be up and growing in two weeks....... it was a no brainer for me....AND IM ABOUT TO BUY ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!! STACKER HERE I COME:fire:watdafuc 005 - Copy.jpgwatdafuc 006.jpgseventhweekofdefoliaton 016.jpgseventhweekofdefoliaton 017.jpg

I did my own but it took a lot of work and much more money than I initially expected. I started 4 months ago and I would say with EVERYTHING, from screws to zip ties, to nutrients and timers, I'm probably approaching $2k. That also includes some tools like the pneumatic sheetmetal cutter, but I already had a lot of tools. I have 2 cabinets, veg and flower, and soon my first crop, but I've put in a TON of work, probably 80 hours easy.

Not everyone can or wants to do that, and these ready made cabinets are a great option MUCH better than a tent. These look great I'll check them out I"m always looking for ideas to incorporate into my setup. Good luck.

I have to go with keebo on this! His posts on the Yielder are what influenced me to buy one. Best decision I've ever made! Two days after recieving my Yielder I had seeds planted and was on my way! If I chose to build my own, I'd still be constructing! Now, I have been a machinist for 30 years--so I know my way around tools and metal fabrication. I can say that NO ONE, unless they have access to a metal fab shop and the knowledge to use the stuff--could get anywhere near the quality of the Yielder! If you like to build your own unit, great! Have fun! But I think it's much more rewarding growing and harvesting dank shit every 10 weeks! I'm just about ready to chop my second harvest! So--while you do-it-yourselfer's are at Wal-Mart and the Light Store scrounging up your hardware to save a little money, Keebo and I will be smokin our dank with proud smiles on our faces. Good luck on your building projects!

ok keebo. I saw your youtube video and I guess that was hydro. What made you switch to soil and what's your yeild like? I think this is the box for me as stealth is super important! I'm just looking for about a lb every harvest, nothing too major. Did you think about adding CO2? What about the LED light upgrades for the side panels? Any specifics with pics would be greatly appreciated.

Great thread guys, first time grower here. As you can see im new to this forum as well as growing. I want to start growing for my mother who has cervical cancer, as well as my own personal use. I feel the pre fabricated way at least for me, is the way to go. Ive been searching the web for grow lockers and i dont know which brand is better, my question is who makes the most dependable lockers as far as smell containment, light "sealage" and quality of products. Im willing to spend anywhere between $1,000-$2,0000. Like i said im new to this, any and all information/opinions/directions is appreciated.

i swtiched to soil for more options as far as plant location... i now can rotate my ladies a quarter turn everyday whereas with hydro you are stuck until harvest... plus i grow with RO water and i fill up up five 5 gallon water jugs at local grocery store and i just got tired of filling up that many jugs every week. soil much less water useage... my runs have progessively gotten bigger each time the latest was just over 12 oz .....im in the process of switching my cabinet out to strictly leds... i was going to just buy another light fixture and tubing from the company since they have made huge upgrade to the quality of their already great product(jealous) but since the price i was quoted was one third of the cost for a new led i just figured to just keep the money and save until i can just grow ballast free.......adding co2 would not help in ths cabinet and it is not need sine the airflow in the cabinet replaces all the air in the cabinet every two min....can never have too much light. if you can afford i reccomend the upgrade.

I've had mine for 6 weeks now. I've been using it for 4 weeks. By far a great investment(so far, fingers crossed).. Only thing I changed was the light that came with it I switched to an LED. I've been nothing but happy with my cab and the customer service through them was also amazing.
