Could you post pics our describe more of your set up. This has been a concern of mine going into this winter. It's my first grow and want to set things up right. I built a small insulated room inside a cold storage shed. How do you regulated temp without running the heater 24/7.
I had my two flower rooms offset by 12hrs, so a flower room was always on. The veg room was on throughout the night when it was coldest. My ventilation in the rooms was set up thru a duct system I built onto the walls, shaped like a U around the building. The blower was in the middle of the U, so one side was neg pressure, other positive. The damper was set up on the negative side, pulling cold winter air into the system when ever the air in the neg side of the duct was too hot, and closing the damper when the rooms cooled down.

I have moved on from this set up since, no pics... But it worked great. I was even able to experiment with VPD that winter by adjusting the humidifier
