think this grow box will work? [pictures]

Its a little bit over 2ft tall and fits very well behind things... I have a PC Case grow right now, but when the plant gets to big to grow in there I wanna try to move it into a bigger box so it can really start to get some buds. I can get some reflective material in there so the cardboard doesnt catch on fire or anything when I have a light in there.

Height - 2ft 5 in
Width - 9 in
Length - 10.5 in

first of all, is there anyone in your house that wouldnt apporove of you growing?

If not then it would be best to build a grow room in a spare(d) closet, BUT; if you insist, yes, you may be able to but there is gonna be more to is than simply planting a light in there, first of all you are gonna have to have a way to steadily control the temp because the lights in there will get hot, so cfl's will help alot there, you will have to find a way to cuirulate air through out the box, your plant will love the fresh air, and you might have to make a custom pot to make a larger area using less height because your pot will steal all the height you will need, and you dont have much of that. And you might have to rig up a scrog grow with consist of using a screen to govern the height of your plant while flowering. Im sure you will have alot more problems, im just letting you know how hard it will be. Good luck

This is what i recomend for your case, http://www.dutchbreed.com/8.html. Only the auto plants though, the are plants that flower when they want no matter what! And most of them grow no taller than 25 inches. Plus they have a tasty variety =D

I'm growing in a 20 inch computer case, so this 2ft of space would be alot more than what I have now. It's a cardboard box, but I can make it work. I was planning on putting 2 computer fans (Inhale, Exhale) in the side of the box for circulation. I'll put a adjustable metal chain on the top attached to the light so I put it closer to the plant. Will it work now?

What do you mean your growing in a computer case, i thought you were growing in the box, which one is it, or are you using them together? Im kinda lost as to what your talking about with the computer. But the fans are a good start. But make sure that no leaves or anything are restricting air flow. So i would place them more towards the top.

Ohhh, i see now, sorry for that. But have you looked at any of the pants from the seed bank i showed you? They would deffinatly come in your favor in many ways. With then you could probally grow in that one single box you have there.

Couldn't I lay some mylar, or some reflective stuff around the entire box?? And instead of using CFL lights what if I used LED lights to throw the fire hazard away?

this is a very good point, im not worried about his heat problem too much, but the mold could stand to be a very effective obstacle

if you can aford led lights ,why dont you buy a little cabinet or another p.c.case and make somthing that will last for a few or more grows...

What could I do to prevent mold from forming?

Need something taller (not another pc case) and need it to be stealth (not a cabinet) so this box was in between both of those.

how about a speaker grow?

Would a speaker fit in this same spot? See how that box is so well hidden right there...thats why I like it, no one would ever see it.

I saw pics of a guy who built a custom king sized bed frm from wood and he had it all boxed off like thats how the bed was made, and on the inside he had a garden and he was very sucessfull

i just wanted th throw that out there, thinking maybe i could make a spark in your mind to make somehting as genious as that lol

if u go with this cardboard box idea you should make a grow journal. That way if the shit fucks up we can all see it and say we told you so. But seriously if you have money for LEDs then you should just build or buy a nice grow chamber.

If you are really in love with that box then why dont you make a box out of wood then cut all edges of box then glue cardboard to wood just a thought
