Thinking of brewing this product as a Foliar spray

I know a lot of you are against premade packaged products. But hey I'm a noob. I have brewed down to earth all purposein my compost teas with good results so far. I have read a post in the past by @DonTesla talking about increased terpene and thc count with a su/mag foliar. This product caught my eye. Is it worth brewing for a foliar?

..a distinct increase in vitamin and mineral uptake / production, which if there are more minerals being allowed to be absorbed, it could increase potency for sure, especially if supplying Fe and Mg in the same time frame or near..

It could perhaps be likened to humans how if we take in curcumin and pepper for it allows us to absorb more antioxidants..

plus there is a distinct smell that arises that is very dank, for lack of a better word, and a pungency of the smell, that can cause problems for those who have jobs.. My family cannot smoke my sulphur organics on a Sunday and go to work on a Monday without it smelling everywhere like you have a dank quarter in your pocket at church.. even though the ganja is at home and wasn't smoked that day, it can be that strong, especially off strains that are skunky or kushy. Can also make fruitier strains smell danker and sativas smell like pungent Kush at certain distances..

but also, don't grace em too late or it will do the opposite, and dry the greasiness (terps) right off the plant.

Day 7-10 of flower is my recommended max. Once there are clusters of 'pistils' stop and if you spray pistils, wash em off after. But try do two foliars between the flip and the first week or so

As for using Langbeinite, its basically Epsom with K added, so if you try it, just go really easy and test a tomato seedling if you can first. And let me know how it goes if you don't mind.

When foliaring with epsom, just using 1/8th a tsp per gallon too by the way. That's the MED principle at play.

Minimum Effective Dose.

when I'm growing and the plant looks good and appears healthy....and then I add something and the plant becomes healthier with fuller expressions.....I understand this only means it was not being fed sufficiently in the first place.
I see mj will grow with a fraction of needed nutrients, but expressions suffer, although plant appears healthy looking, so adding more of something to achieve more expressions seems like completing the feeding process.

I post this because I also added the same items at the rates discussed here to my flowering girls, some with some without, and every one that I added it to failed, locked up, finished poorly. Perhaps my plants were already receiving proper nutrition and over feeding caused me issues? this happens most times i follow some additive rec here.

Haha you're talking like dankness and skunkiness could cause issues. I want the skunkieast of the skunky. I'm not sure what I should do.. should I go buy sul, mg and few and brew them? Can you give a recipe?

What exactly have you tried? My plants do seems super healthy, I'd be afraid to experiment something and get em sick. I am interssted in getting the most flavor and terpenes possible that's why I'm interested in this. My plants are outside so I texhniqually haven't "flipped" there are pistils forming but I wouldn't say clustering. Should I not try the langbeinite? I'm kind of confused as to what you guys recommend.

I grow indoors mostly. I'd look to the outdoor growers for your concern. when I do grow outside I use the same organic
fertilizer as inside and it doesnt get any better. I use Organicare dried fertilizer indoors and out for a super win.

I once put a couple tree spikes next to an outdoor and nothing else. It may have been one of my best. figure what the soil is and isnt and make it right, that plant knows just what to do. you wont go wrong foliar feeding, even with plain mixed hydro nutrients weakened. plants love that, be sure to do it early morning so it can dry out before night.

It can if you work in a military or education setting for sure. Haha

Try my above starter recipe. Easy base to expand from, easy to get, easy to apply. Then compare to your own.

Look into Rid's sulphate regime on his site if you like as well, he's done some good playing around.

But first thing you should do is get really really good and strong, super killer stable genetics.
And more so, really really top notch nutritional ingredients for full on expression.

Keep reading and saving / taking notes.

Thank you guys for your time and knowledge. Think I'm going to experiment on my small clone I have going. If it responds well/ doesn't die, I'll try on the beasts. As far as genetics for mine go, I have all green house seeds genetics. Haha noob at his finest, I just clicked cannabis cup Winners and went with them somehow. I read a lot of negative reviews afterward on here and kicked myself. However the super lemon haze got good reviews and I am really happy until now. Theyve grown very healthily from what I can tell, but we'll see if we get herms and all that.. at least they've been breeding the strains for a while that's gotta be a good thing

I guess it depends what region and era you want to support, but shit! Grew the Super Lemon Haze for many years .. I really love it. Insane resiliency, wild resin profile, I could go on about different strengths, but that the resiliency and resin profile be utterly astounding.

It actually makes the back bone for a few of our strains, our early amber high thc pheno was just too ridiculous, regardless of style ran..

But yeah fruity is nice. You're in the US so not a bad place to be to source genetics at all. You guys have access to the whole world almost.

Did you get your slh from green house seeds?

Directly? Negative. Rumour has it my old partner Got em with a massive trade of product for a few thousand seeds via the tga crew, few hundred of each strain, as well as others like SLH .. But he's been bought out since then so its hard to get the real skinny. All I know is I have a really special line now and I'm really grateful for the hi CBD, high thc, and the high anthocyanin phenos

Sorry for the delay too, Doug, this got lost n a sea of msgs!
