That's causing the plant to Stress Hermie which is not the kind of fem seeds you want. As those seeds will have a higher tendency to herm as well when they are grown under normal growing conditions.

Is there another way? I have been out of the growing business for 25 years or so, hell it blew my mind that you could get seeds that was feminized... Lol... I want to start back with a grow tent and the best method I can see is scrogging. Seems to produce bigger yields for a small grow. (2 plants in a 4x4)
I like the Scrog method myself.
It works great - you have to do some training & trimming as the "Hedge" gets pretty thick & some of the lower shoots need the extra help & light to make it to the show.
I'm pitching about a pound of trimmings tonight for just that reason.

I SOG myself. more plants but smaller, less time training and vegging , I dialed my system in and now pull about a kilo every 55 days out of a 40" x 40" tent with 1k hps

I don't sell anything, so remain "state" legal.
I have more veg time, but yield is very satisfactory and worth the wait.
Look up Colloidal silver, there are numerous threads and journals of people using it. It is readily available at a lot of the health food stores and Amazon.
Scrog grows are awesome producers, I'm gonna try a cpl outdoors this year in a scog just to see how they do.
