This is weird, clone goes limp after first night in flower.

ok everything was fine with it while in veg. I just got it though (2 days in veg total). Roots were out the bottom of a 2" rockwool cube. This morning, after putting the clone in flower yesterday, I got up to check it and everything was limp. It has been about 7 hours since then and it is still pretty limp. This is a DWC setup and there was water in the res.

Anyone ever had this happen? I hope so cuz then I could fix it.

u should of waited atleast i would say 5 days two a week. 2" isnt that big might have to do with lack of root growth need to keep a very close eye on her now!

Doesn't that suck? When I would think of SOG I thought people would simply root hell of clones (maybe 8-12) then put them in the flower. I was thinking of that though but since the roots came out the bottom I thought it definitely survived. I put it back in veg which may shock it but there is no dark period in my veg cab (24/0 which I also thought could have contributed to the limp shrimp syndrome). It is coming back but verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly.

Thanks by the way.

The clone has not become established yet.

It should sit in something between 18/6 - 24/0 light/dark until it perks up and starts growing.

Slow down take your time.
I would wait atleast a week if this is your first time.

Clones need very little light.
They also need good air flow, almost a gentle breeze to start.
You should increase the air flow around and against the plant as it matures.
This will cause the plant to toughen up and become sturdy.
It simulates wind in nature.
