Thought i had this problem figured out.. maybe not

So my plants were looking pretty good and then i noticed a light deficiency and up'd my nutes a little bit and it was getting better. then i left town for a few days and my roommate was looking after them and he may have messed up the PH when watering them cause hes a dumbass and doesnt know how to use a meter. anyways, before i was just doing 5ml/gallon of grow and camg now im doing 5ml/gallon of all that are shown, and about 8ml/gallon of grow. The plant that looks the worst is showing new growth coming in so im thinking i might have fixed it again and i just have to wait and see what happens. Been watering at a PH around 6.0-6.5, plants are in "just right" soil under (2) 150 watt hps and (2) 85 watt cfl. any input is greatly appreciated.

oh and plants are at about 5 weeks, and seem a little small for the age.

ok tell me the PH of your water-run off water. your light size? an have you feed them yet? whats your temps

ok sorry just noticed. ok EVERYONE THATS READS THIS LISTEN THE FK UP when you buy soil for you plant it HAS 2-3 week of food in it for you plant SO NO NEED TO FEED YOUR PLANT if you do this this this guy is going over will happen. an when you move you plant to a bigger pot the soil you move it to will have 2-3 weeks of more food for it. i dont feed mine till weeks 4-6 OF FLOWERING..

It's as simple as reading the bag. I prefer to use potting soil that contains no nutrients to begin with. And absolutely FUCK time release fertilizers. I also don't feed until they start looking a little hungry.

I don't like the look of your soil, however that doesn't hold much weight in this situation...
I prefer fluffy soil with some perlite and tons of vermiculite. Yours looks rather chunky, but it'll do.

Glad to hear you're back on track with your plants, hopefully they continue to improve as you stay the course.

yeah uncle. to many people feed plants when the soil has feed in it then they wonder why there soil goes off

yeah i hate this soil. im going to either switch to a different soil or just use what i have a use something else next grow. I didnt start feeding until it showed that it needed it, made that mistake last grow.
