haha got him on craigs list. you used to be able to buy red bellied piranhas at local pet stores but i haven't seen them in some time. Its a fun little fish to have

when he gets to be about 16" thats when they can take off your hand with about 3 bites at the wrist

I hope those evolve into some sort of crazy Spider Mite eatting fish with legs lol but seriously i never had a Parana but they look cool

nice ass rhom man!!!! too bad he is all you can really keep in the tank.. the black pirana is a solitary fish and dont hunt or live in schoals..... i used to have a schoal of red bellied pirana.... now i got one left... lol they seemed to have had some altercations..... my rbp is a beast though... he is around 7-7.5 inches long.... he doesnt bite my hand and isnt has agreesive has your rhom though..... matter of fact since he killed off his partners he isnt has skittish has b4, and behaves much more like a cichlid even begging for food and shit

That's more like a city rat! I had 6 red bellies and ended up with 2, lol yeah they are kinda territorial I guess. Nice fish man I've never seen a black for sale.

this is a dovii and they grow to like 30 inches...... this bad bod will bit the hand that feeds...

the meanest fish i ever owned was a beautiful female midas cichlid.... that bitch would bite for the eyes...... and mess up much larger fish and kill them... like oscars, flowerhorns, red devils.... the only thing she couldnt kill was the armour like plated pleco!!!

My old roommate had an 18" + arowana. His tank mates were a skidmark eel and 2 Oscars, each were at least 14" themselves
