To give you a small piece of advice, coming from a When this problem started happening with me, i first though it was a lack of nutes, and ime sure gave it to much, then, i tried to flush them, and i think overwatered them. bottom line is this may be whats happening to you. when you harvest check out the roots real well. good luck man

thnx for that m8 the roots didnt look to healthy to be honest but not disintegrated or owt like. just not how my last crop looked after harvest they were white and thick, these r more stringy. well its one more possible cause, i guess its jus the sort of thing u put down to experience, i wont use mushroom compost again for sure lol:peace:

Hey what are the temps? Im only on my first grow, can't really give advice, but my leaves tend to get like that when: underwatered, nute burned, over heated, or too close to lamp.

also wyte do u think the ripening time of the plant will be longer now so the plant will recover enuff to still giv some nice buds or will she still ripen at nine weeks regardleess of bud dvelopment? hmmmmmmmm

it is very possible it will take longer then nine weeks to mature because of the problems, it just depends on the strain and "how the plant feels" ... i had some problems once and flowered for 16 weeks and it was fine, no where near what it could of been but still a good yield/quality.

its been nineteen days now and i still havent had to give water, pot is still heavy..? she has some new growth around the bud sites , very small shade leaves , bud strycture is made up of lots of shade leaves with pistills working them together, very airy still and more leaf than bud, i will give her untill the the others harvest in 4/5 weeks and if she still sick thats it she comin down anyways............ i keep having to stop myself killing her off as it will make a better grow space for the others if ido. i can put my plants in a circle hang my red 250w cfl down the middle of them all and have the 400w beaming down from above, as my cheese and ryders are only bout 16 - 24" and the bulb is 10" long it should encourage nice growth all the way to the bottom of the plants.... another thought is to leave her another week and if she not doing owt then chop her andgive the rest a chance to reach their full potential with th efinal budding stage?? wat 2 do wat 2 do lol

if you really think the others need the extra light then yes you could probably get rid of it.............but if it hasnt dried up after THAT long then it was just way overwatered and it should recover pretty good once she dries up and gets on a regular schedule. how much light ? and how many is there?
400 HID? and 250 cfl ? ok how tall and how many to cover?

i have 3 cheeses and three easys cheese are 24" ..... 2 easy are 12".. 1 also 24".... total 6 small then the himalayan which is 4ft tall, they prob dont need the extra light they looking gd as it is.. but would make it easy in my room to manouver and wouldnt have to jugglw wit heights. the himalayan is actually starting to look like it has afew buds forming, just very airy and leafy at the mo, and its the overall look of the plant as it has no large leaves left, and the small ones are brown at edges etc. i dont suppose it would hurt for it to take longer to produce, im jus worried that i will put the effort in to get nowt out in the end ! and then kick myself cos i cudda give the others more attention, catch 22 innit lol

yea i reckon i will never use mushroom compost again m8, couldnt even find decent info about its nute content, maybe thats wat happened i added nutes wen it didnt want any? the fella it came from though said to give full strength nutes as he does with his ? so cant imagine it being that. live and learn it still hasnt had owt since flush 20 dys ago will water 2 mor though and go from there. can iask u another question? do you agree with the statement roots stop growing at 5 weeks flower? reason to ask is that my big easyrider has really filled up its pot to the point where i can see roots coming out of the large rockwool cubes at the top, which tells me it wants more room, however transplanting now is not ideal as we both know.
