Thoughts go out to Norway and the ones lost.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies for Norway and the casualties of the horrible events of yesterday.

7 people were killed by a bomb in Oslo and 84 people were killed on the tiny island of Utöya.

My thoughts go out to the ones affected by these cowardly and dispicable acts.

This days first joint will be dedicated to my dear neighbours casualties, RIP.

I am pretty desensitized because of how much terrible stuff goes on in this world, but this still managed to shock and upset me- society is crumbling what a sad day this kind of stuff makes me loose any faith in mankind I have managed to hold on to. I feel for the families of the children. I will stop typing because I have nothing to add and my words are meaningless in the face of this tragedy.

I agree with your desensitization.

The reports I've seen from eyewitnesses were heartbreaking.
There's talk of a young man who tried to save his dying friend by swimming to the mainland.
A girl watched 10 of her friends get shot and only survived by diving away.

Another male played dead amongst his slaughtered friends and survived.

The way this has happened is just horrible..

I wonder what the reaction is going to be when this type of terrorism comes to our local malls and schools. I wonder what the effect will be on the Second Amendment? Will we all be disarmed, or will we all be armed to the teeth? What would the outcome have been if a couple of those on the Island of Utoya had been armed?

........Theres just no conceivable reasoning why this had to happen,WTF Why dose the sh$#t go on?
Fanaticism. He was a fucking fanatic that put an ideology above human life. He was trying to start a Norwegian version of the Tea Party (his own words) and is a right wing extremist. Fucking stupid.

I guess this would qualify as one of Sharon Angle's "Second Amendment Remedies". They should fly her ass over there and make her see what words can do.

Ninety two children. I still can't understand or even comprehend it. How could he just stand there and murder children. By the dozens.

Was this island a gun free zone or something ? Crazies love those places it always allows them a safe work/murder environment.

Norway has gun laws much more restrictive than the USA. Which only goes to prove that it matters not what the laws are when it come to committing such heinous acts of violence. I have also noticed that just about every country has a law against civilians having bombs, it never seems to stop people from blowing other people to bits though.

This is what happens when ideologues listen too much to Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow.

And by the way, the American Left/press is already describing the bullets used as "the type used to create the most massive wounds possible." In other words: "Here's a chance to ban hollow-points." Man, they don't miss any opportunity do they?

Look at the legislators in city, county and state governments, Uncle Buckie. Hell man, one such legislator has recently proposed a dollar per bullet tax on every bullet sold within their city. The City of Los Angeles has outlawed the sale of bullets within city limits. City Government in Washington D.C. fought tooth an nail to keep ALL gun ownership out of the city. It had to go all the way to the Supreme Court where they lost, thank goodness. Now, watch the crime rate fall in D.C. And do you honestly think that the likes of Diane Feinstein wouldn't introduce more anti-gun legislation if she thought she could get away with it?

And by the way, if you had read my post and digested it, you would have discovered that I didn't mention any legislation what-so-ever, including legislation on the federal level. What I did, was to take issue with the Progressive ass-suckers in the leftist media not missing any opportunity to paint guns as evil ... and in this particular case, "evil' bullets.

Man ... you are a real tool, aren't ya?

yes he is a tool! hehe

but, as most tools, his dumbassity is always easily disputed.

dont point out the obvious, that nobody there was "allowed" to have a gun.

If you are a caring and responsible homicidal maniac you use hollow point bullets. They kill faster so no suffering. I'm not painting this guy as a saint though.
