It lacked vigor ,exhibited twisted , gnarled leaves and was about to be destroyed due to its "failure to thrive" attitude. As I was staring at this plant deciding it's fate small particles were getting around my nose making my face itch, in my eyes too so being distracted I looked and noticed thrip larvae almost microscopic but noticeable on my hands and probably in my fuckin nose. What I thought was surely something genetic or "cull" worthy was actually something very cureable and while still displaying damage she is recovering and growing strong after treatment. Maybe this changes my mind on genetic abnormalities in seedlings. Maybe I should be ruling out micro thrip damage and other small parasites instead of ASSuming things. Heres some pics

Jack's Dead Bug is a ready-to-use spray that is safe to use. the active ingredient is spinosad. It is readily available online and in many garden shops and nurseries.

Food-grade diatomaceous earth lightly dusted onto the plants will also kill them...but is kinda messy to apply because the dust is extremely fine and can irritate your lungs and eyes.
