Thrips

Hey, it seems that i have gotten Thrips on both of my plants,

Picture 2 is the one with the greatest infestation it seems, most of the leaves look like nr 1 just a few spots and i would say that it is only about 75% up the plant

There is two weeks until it should be done, i am now looking at some kind of pesticide.
Googled around a bit and people found success with pyrethrum and im going away today to buy it, but is it safe to use on something that is harvested soon? Try not to get it on the buds? or just spray the whole thing?

I also have soap water, 1 liter(quart) water to 1 tablespoon(15ml) soap, Do you guys thing i should do pyrethrum today and then soap water to keep the population in check? Or just cut my losses and do a early harvest?

Thanks!

Monterey garden insect spray works very well on thrips. The pesticide in it is spinosad 100% organic and OMRI listed.

I've seen that suggested a lot but i cannot find a store near me that sells it... not even a online retailer in my country what i can see.

So i really got to work with what i've got, will pyrethrum and soap water be futile?

Edit: Seems like i can find a powder of spinosad for ants... think i can mix it with water and get a good spray? Will pure spinosad hurt my plants?

I've never used it so I couldn't say if it's effective or not.

If it's spinosad it should be fine. It won't hurt your plant, but that doesn't mean it'll taste good. Personally I don't think spraying plants with only 2 weeks left is gonna do much this late in the game. It's a good thing to have on hand for future grows.

So you suggest doing nothing and hoping the number of them is low enough not to do damage?
Or just cut my losses and dry it super early?
Or try and wipe down all the leaves with a cloth dunked in pesticide?
Or just try and spray the plant while having plastic bags over the big buds trying to save them and just sacrificing the smaller buds?
Or use soap water spray to atleast stop them from reproducing quickly?
Or wipe the leaves one by one with something

I am so sorry for urgency in the posts, as you can guess im a bit stressed and any help or ideas are welcome :P

Edit:
I have now wiped all the leaves that are not "impossible" with a diluted soap solution, i also applied the ant spinosad solution on a leaf to see if it takes any damage, and if it doesn't i will wipe down all the leaves again but with a spinosad solution. Do you guys think this is the best option?
