tight node spacing

i know its an indicator that the buds will be tight but im looking dor more of a stretch on this girl, ibe purposely put plants under my orange tree to make them reach for the sun, what do you lads think

If you trim the lower leaves or branches it can send more energy and growth to the tips

i had cleaned it out not too long ago

When the plant precives it is in shade it elicits a responce to grow to get out of the shade. It has to do with red lights, you could put some far red on them.
