Time to flip scrog?

I am doing a SCROG in a 3x3 tent with LEDs. Wondering when I should flip to 12/12. Strain is Platinum Bubba Kush, they are just past week 4 of veg. I know they are going to stretch when they are flipped, but just dont want them to get too high, tent is only 6ft tall. This is my first grow so i am just using this as a learning experience grow, but would like to yeild as much as possible. Any advice?

That strain is mostly indica so you can let it fill out pretty good in a 6' tent. I know LEDs need alot of room but your plant should at most double in size. LEDs also penetrate really well so you can let those get tall after coming up through the screen

Right on, I jist read a couple horror stories of people not flipping soon enough and ending up with a jungle instead of an even cannopy screen. Plus I'm probably just dreaming of Christmas buds! Maybe I'll give it another week and see how it looks. Thanks!

Yeah I'm thinking mine will finnish up a week or two before Christmas, hopefully will be rolling some new years blunts with it! Ill be around to see how yours fill out. mine hit the stretch pretty hard the last week and half since I flipped. here's a week difference in mine

So I ended up flipping on 10/30. Glad I waited, the screen is filling out nicely. Here is a pic 5 days into flower.

It's been a while so thought I'd update this thread. I'm almost done with week 3 in flower. Stretch is pretty much done I think. Had a really bad case of PM but I think I have it under control now. Everything is coming along nicely!
