time to harvest

will it really make a difference if i think im ready to harvest but must wait another week or so because i have to go home for the hoildays will the only effect maybe be potentncy i def havee almost all orange hairs everywhere and they look like somebody poured box of sugar all over them i know it is hard to judge without a pic, but i dont really trust certain things, but as a general question just thought i would throw it out there (would there be any really negative outcomes if i have to wait a week and a half or so )

I don't think it would hurt to leave them another week

Have the fan leaves fell off?
Any browning of the leaves, or leaning?
IF not, leave em and you'll get a better mature smoke,
but if you harvest now,
they'll be dry by the time you get back

no theres def still some fan leaves on there, i only got worried because one of my cola is literally the size of a paper towel roll and the other day because it weighs so much fell over but the stem did not snap or break or tore it is jus bent really so i was only worried but i figured even tho most of my hairs are orange i still have time because the buds are just starting to make the shape they should in the end but just double checing getting feed back, thanks for everything guys, oh and any questions on hydro, flourescents, 400w or closet set ups let me know

General rule of thumb for most plants is 75% of the hairs have changed to the darker color then its the easiest time to pull your plants. But that all depends on the strain. The GDP strain will do the 75 percent change but when you leave it another 2 weeks the hairs go back all white for that time and grow new ones and then mature. What strain you growing and how long have they been in flower? If you let them go too long past maturity you start to lose potency.

my bad had some finals havent been able to come on, but yeah i still have some fan leaves and my buddy from cali was in town checking em out and thought i had still have a couple weeks or so left to so0o im hoping for the best but its dutch passion euphoria and yes i tied that main cola prob about the size of a paper towel roll some how haha im really thinking about throwing some pics up soon to give everyone a better idea but good looks on the feedback

yea for real that sounds like the shit! i wana see that budd! take a magnifying glass to it and see if any of the tricombs have turned amber. once 50% of them are amber is the best time to take em. if theres anywere up to 20% amber you should be fine with no thc deteriation. even if you leave it an extra week it wont be that bad. just make sure you get some support on that budd!
