Time to transplant???

My plants sprouted 6 days ago and they seem to be rapidly growing. I see lots of roots trying to come thru the holes on the bottom of the solo cups. I hadn't planned on transplanting so quick but seems like it's time.

How much soil is in the solo cups? Pics of the drain holes and roots will be needed. I don't think it would ready at just 6 days...but let's have a peak

Going from your description I would say yes.

There's also nothing stopping you from popping it out and checking. If its not ready, just put it back.

Here ya go bro these are just shy of 8 weeks they're like 18" tall gonna be topping soon and transplant to 1gals. Been taking clones off these girls

Ok thanks, and why do people always tell me to calm down or relax, just asking a question. Lol

I will get a pic but there are multiple roots trying to come thru the holes in bottom. Of cup. Coco is about an inch from the top of cup. Maybe a little less.

I do appear to be getting good root growth, pretty stoked about that for being less than a week old. Im pretty happy so far for first grow. I just have to keep them healthy.

They're fine I'd leave em Let them develop a nice root ball before I transplant.

Ok cool, I didn't know if it was bad for the roots to be exposed to air like that, I will go with whatever advice I get tho, thank you.

What method is usually used to remove them from the solo cup to cause the least amount of stress.

What I like to do is let the soil dry a lil bit, take the cup and squeeze lightly then turn and squeeze again lightly and so on until it's loose then turn the cup upside down and tap bottom of cup till the rootball comes loose

Thanks, it drains well. I love growing in coco so far. I felt that I gave to many nutes last night so I flushed the shit out of it. Wouldn't be able to do that with soil. Seems a little more forgiving than soil so far. Or at least I like it

one of the guys on here had his first coco problem - fungas gnats. i think you should follow GeeTee's example and line the top of your pots with perlite. What nutrients are you going to use as this grows?

i loved coco until i met promix. Now i don't ph or worry about calmag problems.

I'm using gh flora trio with calmag. I've got a 20:80 perlite to coco mix right now. I've started giving nutes but less than quarter strength. They seem to be taking them fine. I'm ph'ing water to 6 and humidity is about 65. I had to use 2 humidifiers to get it that high so will be easy to bring down
