Hello all. Thought I'd post my ladies and ask about how much time left they have to go before the chop! Both were grown outside in soil, 5 gallon pots. This is my first grow and I think my buds are small, but it was a learning experience and I can't wait for next spring to try again!

Plant #1 is a Sherbert Cookie clone I got from a friend. Wish I could post a picture of the trichomes - they're 90% milky, 10% amber. I don't know anything about this strain, does anyone know what kind of mix I'm looking for? The pot is staying heavier longer, which was the case right before my Hindu Kush were harvested, and fan leaves are dying off. I was thinking tonight would be her last feed and then a two week flush and then chop?

Plant 2: A Pez plant I grew from seed. This is my mmj plant. I want to be couchlocked. In an ideal world, I want this plant to make me feel like I'm a giant floating head. Trichomes are 90% milky, 9% clear, and 1% amber. NONE of the leaves have started yellowing, but I don't know if the strain is just like that?

I'm thinking a week and half before flush, then a two week flush and chop? That would be 7 days past the 60 day flowering time according to growers choice where I got the seed.

Here's a picture of the full plants. The White Widow in the background is all clear and has the longest to go, with five more weeks.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Most of us here don't flush or suggest flushing.

These look like they have a few more weeks to go. No white pistils, but they take on a sort of different overall vibe once ready...to me the flowers look a little dusty/rusty looking.

That's the second time I've heard to skip flushing, thanks for the feedback! I just started using AN Overdrive - do I just use that right up until harvest then, or should I wait a little longer to use it since I'm not flushing?

The flowers, at harvest, should look dusty/rusty? If you have any photos of your plants at harvest time, I'd love to see! I'm very much a visual learner.

flushing for days/weeks forces the plant to canibalize itself.
it strips and eats what it can from the leaves (which your not going to be smoking anyways) to keep the bud growing/ripening.
seems like a dawdle to me.
pointless unless you want to save a few pennies on nutrients.
