I have my lights swiching off at 7 in the morning & back on again 7 at night, Iam 4 days in to flowering and this mornin my timer never swiched them off,
I only noticed at 11oclock.
Is it ok to carry on the 7-7 and let them lose 4hrs dark time? Or is that a bad idea? I dont wana turn them hermi.

1 instance won't make a difference. Replace the timer or fix the timer and return to the original schedule. Good luck, you'll be fine.

Yep,,,once is ok...if your using a couple of powerful lights,,then get yourself a good quality timer..it will handle a big load a lot longer then a cheap one will...

I think mine can handle 1800w. Mine was around 20$. If you go cheap, then yes go for two timers. Good luck bro : ]

I have had no end of trouble with timers and hps lighting.
I think that your timer that doesnt switch off has the contacts melted some and welded together kinda indicating to me that the timer is well underpowered in terms of load carrying capacity compared to the load are asking from it.

I would get a new timer and use it to switch a mains contacter, then wire the lights into the contactor, that what I did and it has ended all my troubles.
