Timer?

Hey guys im about 2 1/2 weeks in. My 3 plants are about 3 inches tall. Ive been on the lighting schedule of 18 on 6 off. When do I need to change my lighting schedule ? and when do I need to start adding nutes? Also I recently put my 600w hps on them instead of my cfl's. is this too soon or does it matter?

alright cool thanks man. Well if you dont mind, while I have your attention. Im having over heating issues. its like 100 degrees in there. literally. I have a 131 dayton exhuast fan. Im trying to figure out how to make it work. Im growing in a 2X4 space. The only problem is I cant cut a whole in the cealing. So I dont really know what to do. Im buying duct work and gonna rig it as best as I can. With the door opened and all. Any ideas ???

and what about the nutes? when do I start adding them?

Well my room is still really hot. Its about 95-100 degrees with the exhaust fan on.

Right. You can get a a cheap one for about $100, that's for a window unit, or you could splurge and get a portable for around $200 more. Those suckers are nice. I plan on getting one next summer.

That would depend on your expectations. If you want a smaller yield taking less time you can enter a plant around 6 inches. If you want a larger yield taking a little more time induce flowering when the plant is over a foot tall.
