I had this on a few grows now is it bad they look like tiny white balls smaller than my perlite chunks and they are fairly symetrical and are highly concentrated by my roots....
I was wondering if it might be those midichlorians or the micro beasties. soil in roots organic on all grows with GO line Roots aurrora line

I've been seeing those and was curious as well. I saw your post further down, and went out to take pics, but no more today yet, (I had picked them all out yesterday). I only get a few every once in a while, but will post some pics as soon as i can find some.

thats very helpful thankyou... I just wonder if they are evem bad maybe they are good and make it easier for my plants to eat I'm reallly not sure with all the talk of beneficial microbes i figure it mighthave to do with them seeing as Ive had them in 2 grows now don't seem to be hurting the plant

OK, here's some pics of the little things I keep finding in my soil, I think they're larger than what you're talking about, but I am curious about these too. I keep finding them, puffy and gelatinous if I find them right away, but sometimes dried up and just the empty shell
Any ideas what they might be? I keep picking them out and throwing them away when I find them, sometimes as many as 3 or 4 per day, but sometimes none for a couple days.

I have seen some of those in store bought soil, its fertilizer. If in fact you had purchased your soil, look at the bag and see if they had already put fertilizer in your stuff..

I was kinda wondering if it was something in the soil, even though I don't see any in the bag, but I can pick them all out, then go back the next morning , you know how a newb likes to see minute by minute growth :) and there will be more.
Either way, I didn't know good or bad, so I have been picking them out and throwing them away when I find them.
BTW., I am using Miracle Grow soil.
Any idea from the pics if I will get a decent harvest?

I think those things are time released nutrients, but it may be insect eggs. I saw a bunch of things exactly like that last time I plucked through Scotts Potting Soil.

still no answers?
I know this thread is old but I seen the exact same white balls when i transplanted my plant today, along with bigger yellow specs scattered around which sounds exactly like what you just said. If you go to my profile and look at the thread I started called " help! Does anyone know what this is?" You can see my pictures. Please let me know if that's the same thing you've been seeing and if you've had any problems because of them

ps- i also used roots organic soil for the plants i seen them in.. Coincidence?
