Tiny white spots on leaves

So after a week or two of flowering this plant, little white spots started to show up on the leaves. The plant also appeared to be drying up and somehow getting "crispy". After searching the plant for anything unusual I only found lots of ants climbing up and down the stalk. Does anyone know what might have caused this? I'm going all organic and outdoors fyi.

and on a different note, does anyone know what strain this plant is? It's way bushier and almost shaped like a christmas tree. Smells lemony.

looks like either:

1) spider mites - aka cocksuckers!
2) powdery mildew
3) cal/mg def

1) check under your leaves for tiny ass black spots. run you fingers over the spots and if they squish and leave a little brown streak on your finger - youve got spider mites. Youll want to deal with em asap as they will stunt your growth and eat your plant. I use Safers End All II and Safers Neem Oil, just try to keep it off the buds (the mites will save the buds for last anyways). Make sure you do like 3-4 apps of the End All + Neem and keep checking it as often as possible for 2-3 weeks after you think they have all been killed.

If they arent mites then its prbly powdery mildew which i beleive is caused from high humidity, or a calcium def which i dont know much about either, ive just seen people associate a cal def with white spots.

Good Luck!

Sure looks like mite damage, and heavy. Get a magnifier and check the underside of the leaves for little brown or black dots. If it's mites and it's as bad as it looks, you'll see them crawling around, and like dude said they squish easy and leave guts. Safer soap the crap out of 'em, but avoid the nugs.

Ya dude you definityle got a colony of mites feeding off that plant. Look underneath the leaves, you will see tons of the little fcker crawling around. Do some research before you try and take care of the situation, but i can already tell ya your plant is probably a lost cause against them.

Actually I checked the plant today and there were no black spots underneath the leaves....so it's not mites...
Instead of black spots there's a ton of white crap underneath, like powder. But it's not powdery mildew either because the spots are actually "inside" the leaf, not on top.

That was prob the webs.....they can be pale whitish coloured too so check for any very small..Tiny weeny thing thats moving or not...once you spot one if you rub it into the leaf it should smear....you may need to tune right into the leaf because they are very, very difficult to spot with the naked eye
