The leaf tip burn is likely caused by the fans blowing directly on the plants.

Follow stumps advice on watering. He is bang on. Don't try to measure your watering needs, do it by feel. Water thoroughly, on an as needed basis. Ideally you want to water every other day, but sometimes the plant or soil doesn't allow for it. In the future you could amend your soil mix to improve drainage, but for now I'd just focus on proper technique.

What is happening is that your roots are always wet and this is preventing oxygen from getting to them (It could also lead to root rot :( ). So despite the small amount of water you are giving them, they are over-watered. A thorough watering will actually help to draw air into the soil.

Hope this helps.

"...Water slow so the soil soaks the water up and get about 10% run off out of the bottom of the pot you'll be watering good."

That's what you need to do.

try at least a half gal. water slow. See what you get for run off. You need to water very slow. then in two days stick your finger into the soil to the second nuckle. you should still feel moistue. do that evey day till it feels dry. Then wait one more day and then water. These are mine at around 14 days. I also use a 400w mh.

Hey stumps, in that 14 day pic, how close did you have your light? My 400w bulb is only about 10 inches from 5 plants, and they are much shorter, but thicker.

and how long did you let them veg to get those buds? thanks

I might have been a little closer off and on. I try to stay 6-8" off. My light doesn't drop low enough so I use a table, upside down pots, books what ever to get right. In that pic they had only been under the mh a few days I think. I was giving them a few hours every day then back to the cfl's. not sure about time on the veg I put them in flower at about 20" tall for a 3 foot give or take finish. did better then I thought on them. Got 360g wet. so I'll end up with about a oz and a 1/2. This was the final grow with those seeds. Now it's full time clones. lol I hope.
